LAS VEGAS -
O.J. Simpson was arrested Sunday and faces multiple felony charges in an alleged armed robbery of collectors involving the former football great’s sports memorabilia, authorities said.

Prosecutors were planning to charge Simpson with two counts of robbery with use of a deadly weapon, conspiracy to commit robbery, burglary with a deadly weapon, two counts of assault with a deadly weapon and coercion, said Clark County District Attorney David Roger.

A conviction on the most serious charge, robbery with use of a deadly weapon, could bring a sentence of three to 35 years for each count, he said.
“He is facing a lot of time,” Roger said.

I'm shocked, just shocked, that someone would accuse Orenthal of doing such a thing!

THIS they can get a conviction on!

I still think if he had been charged with second degree or manslaughter on the last one, they would have nailed him.

Couldn't prove premeditation...and there's the old double jeopardy! Even though the civil suit found 'wrongful death' (and the a****** still hasn't paid a dime).

I hope he gets major jail time!

You mean it is not okay to take back what you think is yours by force? I sure hope he doesn't find a way out of this one.

This is off the topic but I have to say it ... I really needed to have a laugh this morning, and this worked GREAT!! Thank you so much, dukedogsmom!

Back on the topic - I don't think this was the most appropriate choice for him to get his belongings back. (Shoulda tried the magic word, OJ!)

Just knowing that OJ is parking his butt in jail right now brings me great
joy. :D That's probably not a good attitude to have, but it does.

The one really really sad thing about OJ...when someone has a lot of talent, for him to totally NOT GET IT and WILL NEVER GET IT - like he's missing a mental arm....

Yes, I think he was guilty of the murders and that now he should do all the time possible. It just sucks that someone is that screwed up and they just won't ever figure out what the fuss is all about...wastes part of the sentence if the person doesn't know why they are convicted.

Sorry, not making much sense...

he's an idiot for doing this. He was totally responsible for the original murders and now the dummy pulls this crap. Next thing we know, Michael Jackson will get caught molesting another kid. How stupid can you be? seriously.

I totally agree! This idiot/creep/ pond scum DESERVES all the jail time they give him. I'm convinced that he murdered those people and I'm a little worried that he might find another Johnny Cochran to defend him. I hope he's in jail for at least 35 years!!

They say he got charged with kidnapping too!

Someone please explain THAT one to me? I wish the entire thing would just go away. I had more than enough of him when we all went through his first trial. Sure enough, every news channel showed the court proceedings this morning. I'm so thankful for my OFF button on my tv. :D

If you are being forced to stay and your not able to leave under your free-will that is considered kidnapping too. (not sure if I worded that correctly)

Thanks for explaining that to me KYS! I never knew that.

I'm also so tired of all the media trying to be "cutsie" with their headings: squeezing oj and the juice is loose --- and so on make me want to gag, big time!

Fred "his name is ron" Goldman.....STFU

Losing a loved one is terrible but FG and and Brown have made a cottage industry outta death. They have ' non-profit foundations' for their dead and continue to do speeches for money and accomodations.

O.J, Denise and the Goldmans can drop off the earth as far as I am concerned.
