Hey all, wanted to update you on Tigger, the kitty that Melissa rescued and I took in. Sorry it's taken me so long to get an update on here and get some pics.

Tigger is so darn cute, and loves to play!! He loves feather toys and scratching boxes to sharpen his claws, lol. He rolls all over on the carpeted floor and shows his belly. He's not fond on having me rub it yet, but we'll get there!! He's getting acclimated to me picking him up more and more as well. He's not too sure he likes other cats right now and is a bit hissy with my guys if I'm holding him and I walk down the hall with him and he sees them. I have been trying to get him used to the idea of someone holding him and paying attention to him, and also get used to being in my library as well as my bedroom. He wasn't terribly happy with the ceiling fan, but he's getting better.

Anyway... on with the pics. I was trying to get pics of him playing the other night, but taking pictures one handed while waving the feather toy was a bit difficult. It's hard to get a good pic of his face. He's got gorgeous eyes, but he doesn't like to look directly at me or the camera.

Oh yeah... he's also a good eater and loves canned food. When I weighed him 2 days ago, he was 9.05lbs. I think he still needs to gain more weight. He looks thin and young.

Oh wow! He is gorgeous! I love his sweet widdle face!

Sounds like you are helping him to adjust. Tigger, you are in a much better place now, indoors and with lots of food and love!

He sure is handsome and I'm glad that he's doing well.:) He sure does look young and thin but I'm sure he'll start filling out soon. I hope he'll be able to find his loving forever home very soon.:)

Awww....I feel like crying.....I miss him so much...he looks so great though...Jenn thank you so much he looks like he's doing very well there and I'm glad he gained a pound.

He's was such a sweet boy...I will show my husband this thread I'm sure he woud love to see the updated photos of Tigger.

Give him a few scratches for me.

He is up to 9.15lbs this am. He eats his canned food happily, lol, and loves, loves, loves his treats!!

The vet may have said he was a good weight, but darn it, Melissa and I both agreed he's thin!! So, we win!!

He is up to 9.15lbs this am. He eats his canned food happily, lol, and loves, loves, loves his treats!!

The vet may have said he was a good weight, but darn it, Melissa and I both agreed he's thin!! So, we win!!

He's adorable. Looks like my rb cat-nephew Churchill with those tabby stripes over white. *SMOOCH* Tigger for being a good eater!

What a beautiful boy! And he looks not just thin and young but still like a kitten. Glad to hear he is settling in so well, eating better, and starting to put on a bit of weight now.

FABULOUS work, Melissa and Jenn (and Tigger too). Thank you so much.

btw Melisssa... he keeps "battling" the peacock feather you sent along with him, lol. It's so bent and beat up! Every time I put it up on top of a shelf, or on top of some books, he finds and I find it when I come in next and it's on the floor by the scratchy box, lol. He's a hoot!!

He must be long and tall to look so thin at 9 pounds! He is going to be a BIG BOY one day!! What a handsome boy he is too! WOW! You were really lucky to have gotten your hands on him! WOW!

Hey Laura... you're right. He is tall and he is long, but darned is he thin and young looking!!! I almost couldn't believe the baby scale when I put him on it... like "No way is he 9lbs!" He doesn't feel like 9lbs either, if you know what I mean. You pick him up and it's like, hmmm... not too heavy! His weight is very deceptive, lol.

He's a sweetie, and I hope to get him adjusted to being held and loved on, and then get him a good forever home! They should fall in love with him when he gets to PetSmart (when he's ready for that, that is!).

I'm so glad Melissa rescued this guy and did all she did for him! She gave him a great start, and I hope to get him just as good as an ending!

Awww...Jenn I'm so glad. I do miss him but I'm so glad he having a good time. If I go to the one place I get those feathers, I'll be sure mail you a new one.

He's is such a special boy.
