I've caught him a couple times peeing outside of his litterbox. The first time it was in the big tub of litter (which is like a garbage bin), the second time it was the cat bed and when I saw there wasn't much pee. Do you think he has a bladder infection?

Could be he is straining, a vet check would be in order! Good luck!

Sounds like he could be having an issue. When my guys did that, its because they associated the litterbox with pain so they picked other things that resembled litterboxes to pee in. Pouncer was keen on using blankets - soft. They think their litter is the source of their pain.

Get Ducky to the vet to rule out crystals and UTI. When I noticed Mollie Rose was bouncing from catbox to catbox, I got her to the vet. Better to be safe than sorry.

Ah that makes alot of sense catnapper.

He has a appointment at 2, the vet thinks it might be crystals.

He has a UTI. Everyone at the vet LOVED him. He went for a tour around the whole office for everyone to see him and now some of the nurses want one.

Good, I'm glad they were able to determine the cause of the problem. He probably charmed everyone in the office too! Feel much better soon, Duck!
