http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/stepdogger.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/stepdogger2.JPG Fritz this morning looking back at mom as goes out the front door and a minute later laying down on the step.Took Fritz to the vets today,got some more pills,hope it helps.Mom thought it might be his food,that wasn't it,they can get Hayfever and allergies to pollen,probably will be like this until November.Wagged his tail at a couple of cats,also a little Yorkie there.There was another couple there,saw a man crying,wiping tears,probably had to put their dog down.Fritz was snoozing away in the kitchen when we went to dinner,I had a 12 ounce New York Steak,Mom had a White Roughy Fillet.Dessert was Creme Brulee,with Strawberries,Raspberries and Blueberries in their own juice.This was my birthday dinner,Mom has a Potluck Dinner at church on Monday which is my 47th birthday,first without Dad.Went to the cemetary to water plants,Mom said Dad could have supper with us had he still been here.Mom brought Fritz home a little Steak for a treat,he is now down here on the couch, licking and scratching.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/eatsytime2.JPG Fritz this morning eating cereal.He got up this morning,needed a drink right away,the pills make him thirsty plus make him sleep a lot,needed another drink after,had to go out then had cereal and toast and out he went.i got a card from Mom for my birthday,while reading it make me think of dad,kind of sad he is not here to celebrate it with me.I got a birthday greeting from Shannon by e-mail last night and one fom Marlene this morning by phone.I bought season tickets for the Bowmanville Eagles Jr.A hockey team,$150,so i will there every week right into February at least cheering them on.

Oh, Fritz! After serving as guard dog, you came back inside and took a rest. You've had a busy couple of days with a visitor and then watching for the mail carrier. Every day is busy for you, though with all the things your family does. I like your fluffy, pooffy tail.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/ledgedogger.JPG Fritz on the front window ledge this morning.Had a difficult time getting him to bed last night.Mom came down with cheese,he poke his head out but stayed put,Mom gave up and went to bed.he came out once and when I tried to grab him,he ducked back under.The second time I was ready,I had a weiner,then i picked him up and put him to bed,he doesn't like me putting him to bed,barks and carries on,Mom got up to tell him to be quiet and had to lock his cage right,I never get it right,he soon quieted down.I had some pancakes this morning,he liked that,wouldn't be quiet while i ate,had to come down her to finish.He has been out and now ikn the window.Mom going on the garden tour shortly and later we will have Dominos Pizza for supper.Fritz is content now and is in the window snoozing.Before breakfast,he was in Mom's chair,tail going and growling, he wanted breakfast.The pills are working,hardly scratching at all now.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/porchdog.JPGhttp://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/prowling.JPG Fritz on the front step this morning and prowling down the hall with his Monkey looking to hide,He brought it down here and was trying to hiidng,whining the whole time,finally left in a chair and he got up on the coffee table panting.He sat there "talking" to me,gave him his Monkey, don't think that is what he wanted.he was barking at a kid waiitng the corner for a bus,then was watching a dog go by.Mom has gone with Marlene shopping,Fritz was too interested in the dog to see Marlene waving.Fritz went upstairs last night a little after 10,finished his supper,went to the window and left there almost immediately to go to Mom to bed.Fritz got scratching during the night and around 2 in the morning Mom took him and put him in his own bed.He begged me for toast and cereal had that,growled for water before this.After eating went outside.Currently is in the window laying down.By next Monday,supposed to be 86 degrees and fall starts tomorrow.

I can't stop smiling Fritzie!! I thought you couldn't get cuter but that picture of you with your stuffie is priceless!! You are so adorable. I can't believe how hot it's going to be up there. I think we're about the same here.

There's Fritz being his observant self on the porch! Barry, your geraniums are beautiful, too. Such full blooms. Mine flowered one time and now they're just in the pot, green leaves with no flowers. But yours are lovely.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/porchguard.JPG Fritz on guard duty this morning.Fritz was in the window when Mom brought me home from the hockey game,he was happy to see me.Fritz went to bed with mom,was quiet the whole night,no scratching.When I got up,Fritz was completely covered by the blankets on the bed.Had his cereal with and toast with me,from Mom too,was outside.Fritz barked at kids waiting for the bus,is quiet now in the window.Neighbors two doors up have a Labradoodle and when he rides in their vehicles,he sticks his head out to get a breeze I guess,looks really cute doing ,mom and i get quite a laugh from it.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/duckbuddy.JPG Fritz with his Duck buddy under the dining room table.The duck was sitting in a bed mom bought for him(it was in the living room with other toys in it).Fritz then took it and went with it under the chair to have a nap.Earlier he had brought his Monkey to me for a brief play.I throw it,he would get it and bring it back.A couple of times had to ecourage him to do it by pushing on him,he didn't like that and was going to nip me.We had Cauliflower soup to start for supper,then stew,fritz had a little meat from that,chocolate cake after,he he got to clean some crumbs,not the icing.He has been sleeping upstairs just inside the kitchen.This Friday Mom is going on a bus trip with a friend and other people to Tonawanda ,New York until Sunday.Staying at a Days Inn.The next weekend,we are going to Marlene and Larry's cottage for Thanksgiving.Going on Friday and coming back Monday morning,I have a hockey game to go to at 1:30 that afternoon.

Fritz is so cute! He reminds me of my mom's Bichon, Ripley. Mom and Ripley spent this summer with us in Italy and he is so full of personality. Him and Drake played alot and got into trouble all the time.

I came up to go to bed,Fritz came in and was on the bedspread,then he got up on the bed wiht me.He couldn't get comfy,so he left and was sleeping on the edge of Mom's bed.Around 2 this morning,he heard a rifle go off and he was barking,soon quieted down.He was in between the pillow when I got up at quarter to 7,soon came t to Mom's chair in the living room.He came over to me when I had cereal and toast,he talked up a storm wanting the cerealhe got that,then some toast,went outside,came back in.Fritz is now curled up on my bed,covered him with a bedsheet,can't make my bed,he looks really cozy.Haven't heard from Mom as of yet,hopefully will this morning.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/lawnrest.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/steppynap.JPG Fritz laying out on the lawn Sunday afternoon and this morning laying on the step.Mom got home at quarter to 6 last night and Fritz was glad to see her,jumping up,tail going,also was glad to see Mom's friend Florence who went with Mom on the trip.They couldn't right to their rooms on Friday,so they went shopping for the day and didn't get to their rooms until 5 that afternoon.The shopped again most of the day Saturday,they crammed a whole lot of shopping into a day and Mom was tired from the walking.i think it was Saturday they had supper at the Cracker Barrel in Williamsville,New York,same restaurant that Mom went to when she went to Nashville 5 years ago.Fritz was outside yesterday when a little girl and her friend were walking a little Bichon,Fritz barked at it,I told fritz she is your kind of breed.it wasn't until I went out that the girls brought the dog to us.The dog's name is Bijou,a female Bichon almost 4 months old,same size fritz was when we got him.Bijou had a little play with fritz jumping at him,fritz played too.If i see the dog again,i will be sure to get a picture of it.Fritz slept up tight to Mom all night,had toast from us,went out and barked at kids going by,one had a hat on the other a hooded sweater and he doesn't like that.Mom's been doing laundry,Fritz grabbed a washcloth and took it upstairs,gave a piece of weiner to get it back.Fritz now snoozing in the kitchen.Supposed to in the low to high 70's this week,nice for our Thanksgiving weekend as we are going to Marlene and Larry's cottage in Haliburton from Friday until Monday morning,have to be back to see a hockey game in the afternoon.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/porchrester.JPG Fritz laying on the front step this morning.fritz had a few of my Fritos chips last night,then sat with in the chair.he went to bed with Mom,right up against her,Mom can feel his heart beating,says it gives her the willies (feels strange).Came out and had cereal and toast from me,had a drink went out,then layed on the step,jumped at the door to come in and have Mom's toast.Now in the window,goes in about an hour to get groomed,will get to see the cats and get a new scarf.Tomorrow,we are going with Marlene up to their cottage in Haliburton until Monday.Larry coming after work on Friday.We are having our Thanksgiving supper on Sunday and are coming home Monday morning as I have a hockey game to go to on Monday afternoon.Mom went on a walk with her friend yesterday,there were people all across Canada and other parts of the world walking 1 kilometer(.6 miles) at the same time.The current record is 100,000 people in Australia last year.If they break,it will be in the next Guiness Book of World Records.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/snazzyguy1.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/snazzyguy2.JPG Fritz snoozing in the chair and out on the step.Fritz is sporting a Blue and White checked scarf he go at the groomers.I had to pick him up to put him the van,sat right still.When we got there,he is pulling on the leash,jumped at the door leading down the stairs,then at the door to the groomers,he got a couple of dogs barking .When ee got ther to get him,the one cat,a orange color came out,Fritz tried jump on him,did the same to the other black and gold cat.He sat down,didn't want to leave,so i carried him up the stairs,sat him down outside and still wouldn't move so carried to the van and he stayed on my lap the whole way home,did the same on the ride there either shaking or panting.Curled in a corner of the kitchen we we got home.We shared a Meat pie,Fritz had some crust from that,other that this or going out,he slept,tired from the grooming and his pills.Now snoozing on the coffee.Going tomorrow morning after Mom gets her hairdone,then we go up to Marlene's and pick up her and Taffy,Marlene will drive,takes about 2 hours,having Chili for supper.Here it is foggy right now and to be in the 80's all weekend,up in Haliburton a little cooler 70 Friday to Sunday,showers tomorrow night and on Sunday.When we leave Monday from Haliburton ,high to be 61.Talk to you all on Monday sometime,will have pictures of the leaves changing color,Fritz,Taffy and the cottage.

I already decided I am going to start being thankful today (Thanksgiving in Canada) and go on through the "other" Thanksgiving. I have a lot to be thankful for and one thing is Fritz fixes!! When it was time to bed he was looking at Mom,wanted to go to sleep.It was after 7 when he got up,had his cereal and toast,went out front ,came back in and was barking at kids outside.now snoozing,curled up on Mom's bed.I have to do Marlene's lawn today,thast's it for the week,the Aunties are coming tomorrow,staying until Saturday for the Apple Fest.Fritz doesn't know yet,big suprise,may tell him tomorrow.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/lookerboy.JPG Fritz looking around in the front window.Fritz kept Auntie Irene company while Bev and Mom went to the Apple fest where they brought back Cinnamomn doughnuts.Irene's stomach felt a little off so she stayed behind,felt better after they went so she coud have gone.Fritz layed with her on the couch the whole time.We went shopping after this,had a hard time getting out of town with all the traffic due to the Apple Fest,bridge over the creek doesn't help with only one lane each way due to construction since June.I needed Ink for the printer,bought a Bichon calendar and a book about the band U2.Fritz went to bed with Mom and stayed there all night after snoozind under the little couch down here.had my toast and cereal after getting up,had Mom's toast,went out back,came in and drank and is now in the window.Going to church in a hour,Mom han't been in 3 weeks,she's Ushering today.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/kneenapper.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/backsleep.JPG Fritz on his back Sunday afternoon and on Mom's knee this morning,Mom reading the paper.The Aunties went home Saturday,they have church on Sunday.Fritz had a couple of plays with his Monkey Sunday,also wandered around the house whining trying to hide it.We had Kraft dinner and wieners for supper,Fritz had some weiners,Lemon Meringue pie for dessert,licked the plates.Mom took me up to the hockey game,she went to Larry and Marlene's for a visit,brought back a couple of pieces of dessert,a banana deesert, with wafer crumbs and whipped cream,very good,Fritz licked the plate.Fritz went to bed with Mom.head on pillow,around 2 in the morning came to me,left around 20 after 5 to go to Mom.He kept Mom up last night rooting around the bed and scratching.He came out and had cereal and toast,then toast from mom,went out and came back in.Mom and I put all the Roosters away for the and I pulled all the flowers,all that is left to do is clean up leaves.When I was out pulling plants,Fritz grabbed the Sports section of the paper and ripped to shreds,can't read it now.Going to check out the Price is Right today ,it is Drew Carey's first show as host.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/toastysit.JPG Fritz sitting up in front of Mom this morning begging for some toast.Fritz went to bed with Mom but around 10 last night a truck with flashing lights was outside,there was a water main break on the corner,the guy was making noise,Fritz was off the bed barking so Mom got him and put him in his cage,where he stayed quiet.Fritz and begged for cereal,had that from me,got next to me on the couch for toast,had it with Mom,was in the window,has been out twice,has barked at a car turning around in the driveway and barked at kids waiting for the bus.He is quiet for now,the truck will most likely be back to fix the water break,running down the street and bubbling in a couple of spots.

I'm with you, Elyse. Fritz always makes me smile. What a cute guy he is!! I know you had a great time with the Aunties, Fritzie!!

Daisy has been scratching lately and keeping me awake too :( I have combed and brushed her until I can't torture her anymore(she hates grooming). She must have gotten a flea from somewhere. I will put Advantage on her today :) Her coat has gotten so thick,a flea could hide forever--ha ha -- you would think I'm talking about a huge dog :D

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/earlynap.JPG Fritz having an early nap under the dining room table this morning.Last night,Fritz sat right up straight on the back of the chair"asking" to go upstairs,finally let him up,Mom went up after talking with Marlene,Larry hasn't been the best,has had bowel trouble.Fritz went up to the window just before Mom came up,he starts barking there is nothing there,I think he is doing it so i have to come up to bed.Mom had me come up,then shut the light off in the window and he went to Mom where he stayed tight to her all night and this morning while reading the paper.Had cereal and toast from me,been out,then he layed down next to me on the couch all fours in the air,I have had a cold for a couple of days,maybe he senses it.He barks at the same two kids every morning.They sit on the curb of the driveway waiting for the bus,one has backpack on wheels,Fritz barks at that.He is in the window no more kids until after 3 this afternoon.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/porchypup.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/backnap.JPG Fritz laying on the front porch Thursday afternoon and this morning snoozing in Mom's chair.Fritz some of my Hot Dogs for lunch.Dived into his bed in the living room and picked out his Duck for a play with me.Had some of our French Fries for supper.Later had some Pizza for a snack,he had a little of mine.Went upstairs,to the window,started barking,got him down with a wiener.He went to bed with Mom,I went up to watch hockey as i have had a cold going for 2 days or so,might not go to hockey here tonight.Fritz heard a bang,maybe the paper or thunder,we have had that and lightning today plus a little rain.got Fritz wandering around panting,had to go out in the rain.fritz came in with me a little after 5 to sleep after he heard the bang.had my cereal,passed on toast,now in window,barked at kids as usual,saw one yesterday weraring a hat with flaps over the ears,didn't like it and barked.Larry was feeling a little better yesterday.been to a Doctor,has to get a MRI and a Mammogram.Today woke up sweating,still went to work,may not stay the whole day.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/bigyawn.JPG Fritz with Mom this morning,giving a big yawn.Fritz stayed in the window the whole time we were at church.At church today,I saw my 3rd grade teacher from 1969-70.She was Miss Barbara Muir at the time,later Mrs Goodin.I went and introduced myself, asked if i still lived in town,mentioned dad.That year i remember our class went out to her family farm west of town,didn't think to mention it.She and her husband just live down the street from the church,first time I remember seeing her there at church.That just made my day! Fritz had some Hot Dog with me,think he is in the window again,nice day here supposed to be 75 today.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/toastwait.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/squishdog.JPG Fritz this morning waiting for toast from Mom,already had mine and the cereal, and curled up in the chair,face squished into the side of it.Slept tight up to Mom,got up around quarter after 7,had everything from us,was out, had a drink ,watched kids waiting for the bus and barked at them.I cut a neighbor's lawn and our own,cutting up the fallen leaves.Mom was was out cleaning the windows,then i raked up the flowerbeds where she had the ladder,had a hot dog,Fritz had some.I am tired from the work,still feeling the effects of the cold i got,it really wears me out.Supposed to up in the mid 70's here today,we will see.Tonight rain into the morning and 63 tomorrow and in the 50's the rest of the week,rain on the weekend,down to 36 Thursday night,likelyhood of frost.Fritz now laying on couch,Mom has a Thank Offering tea at 1:30 to 4 at church.
