Oh! I hadn't heard this news! He did so much to spread the glory of opera. And his voice!!! RIP, Pavarotti.

:( I'm so glad I had the opportunity to see him perform live many times at the San Francisco Opera. RIP big guy and give them one hell of a songfest with your glorious arias upstairs.

He had one of the most beautiful voices I've ever heard. He was really something. RIP, I hope the angels enjoy your voice as much as we here on earth did.

With the wonders of modern technology that voice will never be forgotten. I first saw him in Australia in the early 60s.

I was saddened to hear of his death.

I am soooo sorry :( That men had the most fabulous voice I know! The song which touched me the most, is "Miserere" . Simply breathtaking!
Pavarotti was one of the few men who could sing a perfect high DO
