Huh? What does text messaging and a retirement gift have in common, you ask?

Well I need help for a retirement gift. We are going to get a co-worker a Tiffany bracelet as a retirement gift. It's a chain bracelet with a little heart.

On one side we were thinking of putting the years of service she worked (for example 1985 to 2007).

On the other, we thought we would put a text message. The heart is very small so we need to abbreviate what we want.

We were thinking:

xoxo
from
ABC Company (for example)

Can anybody think of something else?

TGIF

miss u
ABC Company

I don't know much about text messaging. I don't know the symbols/signs and such. Does anybody have any other ideas?

Thank you!

Well, I guess I would consider this before I got too into the whole texting/IM language thing ... How old is the person retiring? Does she IM or text? Will she understand what you are trying to say? I know my parents would have NO clue whatsoever.

She's old. :D

We decided to do xoxo From ABC Company. It was sweet, simple and to the point. I can't wait to see how it comes out!

Thanks for replying. :)
