Did anyone else see that they are making a movie for Marley & Me, starring Owen Wilson and Jennifer Aniston (can't stand her)? I'm excited to see what it's going to be like, and if they can pull it off!

I have big trepidations about a movie of that book, it seemed so much better when they were the experiences of a real couple/family. I think Hollywood will pretty it up too much for my tastes.

I heard about that. I wonder how they picked the dog(s) that will be in the movie? I wonder if they had a casting call.
Also, Owen Wilson is still recuperating. I wonder if they've had to put the production of the movie on hold.
Not sure if I'll see it because I will be crying like a baby at the movies. I may wait and rent it. That way I can cry like a baby in the privacy of my own living room.

I was thinking that too.
I agree with Karen, I bet some parts of the plot will be glammed up, but nonetheless I expect I'll be at the cinema when it hits the screens.

I have yet to read the book, but i've heard a lot of good things about it. Guess I should read it before it comes out.
