Police: Neighbors Fatally Shot Each Other

ANDERSONVILLE, Ind. -- Neighbors in a rural area of eastern Indiana shot and killed each other during a dispute, police believe.
Police found the body of Heather Steele, 29, dead of an apparent gunshot wound in a wooded area near the small Franklin County community of Andersonville Thursday morning, Indiana State Police Sgt. Noel Houze Jr., said.
Police later found the body of Albert Cummins, 64, outside of his home a short distance away.
"They just shot each other in an exchange of gunfire and both of them died of fatal gunshot wounds," Houze said.
Police were still trying to determine what sparked the confrontation, he said.
Andersonville is about 50 miles southeast of Indianapolis.
