I just wanted to know how old everyone is!If you don`t want anyone to know how old you are you don`t have to post anything.I`m (under 18),I`m the youngest in my family, but I do have a twin brother so I`m kinda not the youngest in my family.

Sorry About the age thing on the first two,if your fifteen please select the first one.

That is an interesting poll, I guess that is a good example of what age groups are computer/internet savy.

This is a great poll! I have often wondered myself about the age spread here. I know it is probably like 9yrs-90yrs! HA! The great part about this poll is that we can remain anonymous and keep our ages to ourselves while at the same time noting the diversity of ages!

13 is the official mimimum age to be a member of Pet Talk!

13 is the official age not by our choice, but by the government's decree - any younger, and you are legally supposed to get parental permission.

40 here...soon to be 41. You're right Leslie, time really does fly. I swear that teaching keeps me young and keeps my mind open to new things and fresh ideas. I agree, this is a fun thread.

You guys, you really should be posting your age, as this is a public place, and anyone can see it, not just those freindly Pet Talk folks you know and love. I'm going to edit out ages in anyone under 18's post, just because ...

I agree that age should not be necessarily told, but I will say that I'm in the 15-29 bracket. I don't think that says too much. Of course, many people lie about there age so I just hope that people are honest on the poll so that you can get the real results! It really bothers me that people lie, but unfortunately, we can't stop them.

I'm 27. I think every age has its flavour. For me it gets better and better with every year.
Some people try to scare me with "we'll see what you'll say after 30". But that doesn't scare me, age is only figures. It's about how you feel, not about where others fit you in.
I am sure that my Juni and all our pets (or other interests we have) make us feel good and young.

Hey! Who says 40 is old??!?!?! I turned 40 in February and I don't feel a day over...21! ;) :D Well...except those mornings when it's soooo hard to get out of bed, and all these darn gray hairs that just won't go away. I remember when my mom turned 40 and I thought she was sooooo old ('course I was all of 15 at the time), now I say you're not old until you're 85 or so. ;) :p

Thanks Lynne, you have made me feel better. 40 in September?
Would I want to be 40 again? Somehow, I don't think so, I am pretty happy right here. Life is good!

Personally, call me crazy and then hit me but I can't wait to be older! Like 40 or so. Well acctauly I can't wait to be like 85. (in most cases) Your married, you have someone who you are goign to be with for the rest fo your life, you are retired. You will have grand kids who love to come over and see you. You have kids who no longer live with you :D . You just know how your life will pretty much be. I'm exited to get old. Find out who I marry, if we stay togerher, if I accomplish my dreams, if I have kids, where I work, if I like my job or hate it, what pets I have, what college I go to, what I get my degree in. I dunno, maybe its me.

I do jazzercise with a woman who is 77. She does more pushups than I do. She just left town to take two of her granddaughters on an Alaskan cruise. Then she is going to Europe for five weeks. I admit $$ helps but what she really has is a focus on healthy living (although she enjoys a cocktail or glass of wine!) exercise, and having fun. She looks 10 - 15 years younger than she is and is such fun to be around.

I want to be like her when I grow up!

Edwina's Secretary: That is soo cool! I want to be like that too! The wife of the person who married us is 62....she looks like a very classy 40...it's amazing how well people can look and act if they have the right perspective...
