I put my order in....I want this one, aww, what a beautiful color this little baby is. I miss living where I can have chickens. :(

How is Lester doing, is he getting better with walking(I think I have the right rooster). He is the one that a student asked someone to chicken sit and never came back to get him and he was all beat up right? He probably likes having Peanut and Lennie living with him. What kind of chicken is Peanut, she just an itty bitty thing. Is that because of the breed?

Peanut is an old english game bantam which is the second smallest breed of chicken in the world. Mine are less than a pound each I believe. My two older chickens Peggy and Russel are also old english game bantams. And yes Lester is the beat up chicken I rescued. He is still very skinny and has no muscle mass and hasn't walked or stood up yet at all. I have been feeding him lots of protein hoping that he will gain some weight.

Here are Peggy and Russel the old english game bantams they are fully grown in these pics. Little Russel just started crowing a few days ago. It was so funny.
