There's a lady here in my relatively small town that has a Meezer hanging out around her house. She can't take her in but they took her to a friends house for the time being.
She's talked to the shelter and took her to a vet to ckeck for a chip and there's nothing...no chip and no signs out but she really thinks this kitty came from a loving home as she's well tempered and healthy,
I told her to wait a while because the family might be on vacation and she slipped out the door when a caregiver came over, but she asked me if I knew of any sites to post her "found" at...

Thanks

But really the best bet would be to post an advert without the picture at several vets offices and the human shelter. I might not even put the breed, but that it appeared to have been well cared for and was friendly.

Ask the potential owner about a description when they call.

Perhaps the sitter will inquire.

good luck

We had the same thing happen a couple of summers ago. After the vet checked for a microchip and found nothing I made flyers that said Found Cat in "my subdivision's name", call --- to identify. We got a couple of calls that weren't her description but by the end of the week her owners called. They were new to the neighborhood, had gone on vacation and the cat had wandered off. Whoever was suppose to be feeding her never bothered to call and I'm sure they would have seen the flyers because one was posted very close to their house.

At least that Meezer has a home now although it would be better if he could be reunited with his Guardians if he is lost.At least hes in a safe place.
