http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/snuzypup.JPG Fritz this morning snoozing in the kitchen corner.He went to bed with me last night,slept by the other pillow and the end of the bed until quarter to 3 when he went to Mom and slept with her.Never had toast or cereal this morning,he is sleeping in Mom's living room chair.This is all he's done today,hasn't been outside.I am sure he will look spiffy when we get him this afternoon.Having a little trouble focusing pictures,probably my fault.

Morning, Fritz! Guess you are letting Barry know you are getting TOO MUCH TO EAT, eh? After seeing what happened with those 2 spoiled bichons I had for fostering last week, I worry about you, guy. http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/snazzypup.JPG Fritz in the chair this afternoon looking pretty spiffy.Had a hard time getting the leash on him,but once there he pulled and tugged on his leash,couldn't wait to get in.He started wagging his tail when he saw Michelle,the groomer.When we got there to get him,he came running out and jumped on one of the cats,the cat didn't mind.Fritz got a lick from ther cat,the cat also rubbed up against him and Fritz sniffed the cat.I never seen a dog and cat like each other so much.He took it easy when he got home laying on the air register,getting cool from thr air condtioner.Fritz didn't want to leave the groomers.sat still and wouldn't budge so i had to pick him up.He is now outside wandering around the patio.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/kozypup.JPG Fritz cozy in the chair this morning.Fritz slept with Mom all night,got up at 10 to 7 this morning,same as me and crawlled in next to Mom as she read the paper.He just looked at my cereal,never had it,then he went out and is now in mom's chair curled up.Taffy is coming later,Marlene and Larry are going to a party,don't want staying alone for a long time.We are having Dominos Pizza for supper.never had the rain they were calling for and doesn't look like any for the next week at least.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/chairpup.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/zonkerpup.JPG Fritz this morning curled up in the chair and doing the same thing this afternoon.Larry and I had a busy day cleaning out a lot of junk in the garage,Dad saved a lot of things,scrap metal,wood,cardboard,things like that.Still a lot of tools,probably will go to a auction,stiil a bit in the furnace room.We went up to Marlene and Larry's for supper,Fritz went ,had a ride in my car,stopped at the cemetery,Mom told him we wre going to see Papa.Fritz was out for a little bit while Larry was here,Taffy here too,Mom went to church and Fritz soon wanted in.We had Steak,Ceasar Salad,Baked Potatos and Green and Yellow beans.Dessertwasa strawberry thing with Whipped cream on bread,it was good,also Mom's Blueberry squares.fritz behavedhimself,waited patiently,got some steak.Taffy has sone steak and a little dessert ,Fritz licked Mom's plate.Came time to go,Fritz wanted to stay,like before goinghegot under the dining room table,Mom had a hard time getting his leash on,I had to help.Rode on the back seat on the way home, is now in the window,waiting to go bed,maybe with me like last night or with Mom,whichever he picks.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/coolpuppy.JPG Fritz cooling himself by the air register this afternoon.He was bad today,he ate his supper too fast,brought it all up under the dining room table in two places,Mom not impressed and later on he was downstairs,he was going to lift his leg and pee downstairs,Mom shooed him upstairs,he knew he had done wrong.He started off in the chair in the living room when Mom went to gift shop,then barked wanting in the window,it was way too warm,I was down here and he barking to get in ther so i let him.After this came to my bedroom on my bed and then Mom's where he was when she came back.Fritz is now on the back of the chair next to me after going outside.Before all this,he was looking at mom from the coffee table,talking and wagging his tail wanted a treat,Mom said no,he had brought his supper up.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/lapnappy.JPG Fritz on Mom's lap this morning as she reads the paper.Fritz slept with me right next to me.This morning,buried himself under Mom's bedspread.Later came out and got up with Mom.He had my cereal and toast,not Mom's toast,stole a coaster and went under the table with it.He then went out,came in and curled up in the kitchen,now with Mom on the couch.Mom mentioned to me she was in a movie when she was a little girl in the 1930's.She can't remember the name and she said it played at a theater in Port Hope,Ontario about 15-20 miles East of here.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/washyboy.JPG Fritz washing his paws after having some of my Pancakes for breakfast.Last night ,he went to the livingroom,had one of my socks and something else.I told him I am going to bed.I went to my bedroom,closed the door to get ready and i heard scratching,let him in.I guess he was tired waiting for me to get ready,he started growling at me and he was looking at the door,so i went and opened the door,he went straight to Mom and slept next to her.he had breakfast with me,went outside ,not for long and is sleeping in Mom's chair in the living room.I have been out watering plants and raking the flowerbeds,already 80 degrees by 20 to 9,now 81 and going to 95 ,humidity making it feel like the low 100's fahreneit.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/beddypup.JPG Fritz at the end of Mom's bed last night,waiting to go to bed.he slept at the pillow all night.When he got up,went to the window,stayed there until Mom went to get her hairdone and he then went and spent some time on the step before coming in.He was in the window when we went to drop off Zoo tickets at Shannon's .She was babysitting 2 other kids besides Brandyn and Samantha.Shannon found a stray Black and White cat outside their house,cute little cat,had it up in the bathroom upstairs,don't know where Sherman their other cat wass,Molson,the dog was locked in another room.Not sure if they are keeping depends,if Sherman gets along with it,might give it Jason's two kids.Samantha looks good,looks like her mother.She crawled on her knees backwards down the stairs,apparently she has done it walking while holding the handrail .Brandyn is taking swiming lessons and is quite good,swam a lot at Grandpa Bradley's cottage on the weekend.Also dropped off tickets and a card to Ryan and Lauren,Ryan is 5 on Sunday,gave my Mom a big kiss.Didn't stay long,they were going to the dentist Lauren and Ryan,one hurt their gums and there was bleeding.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/smileyresty.JPG Fritz with a smile on his face resting on the front step this morning.he slept with Mom again,was with her when I got up,had some cereal from me.Fritz then went outside on the front lawn tied,wandered around,got into the flowerbed,then he was laying on the grass,the lady who owns Gracie,the Bichon was walking their little Poodle by,wanted if Fritz was tied up,I yes..Fritz was out there while I watered plants,went in just before I was done and had a blitz around the livingroom,throwing his Monkey in the air and he ended up sitting in the window.I am babysitting Fritz.Mom is going with the Aunties to visit friends at their park they used to camp at and have lunch with them.A little cooler today 79,no rain,humid again by Sunday,no rain in the immediate future.Forgot to mention it but it was 5 years ago yesterday that Mom,Dad and the Aunties went to Wiarton,Ontario and picked up Fritz.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/grassynap.JPG Fritz late this afternoon laying under the Maple Tree.Mom had a good time,met a couple,the husband has had ALS for 10 years and is getting fitted for a Wheelchair.Mom saw the old trailer,looks realy good for a 1985 model.Fritz was pretty good,stayed either in the window or Mom's bed unless it was lunch or supper.Ate all his supper,put a little Spaghetti in it.fter doing dishes,he was sitting on the couch with his rabbit wanting a play ,so i had a play.Around 5,went out and wandered,layed on the grass and then ended on the step.The Aunties sent him home some treats,has had some,also some new dog foor Cesar for small dogs.He is now under the couch until bedtime.

After this,he look at mom growling and wagging his tail and did the same at me.We asked him if he needed to go out or to bed,then he heads to the cellar door and sits,that's where I put the treats the Aunties gave him,so gave him a couple.Aftrer this escapade,he sat in the chair begging,wanted upstairs,so up he went ansd he started barking,he wanted the drapes open ,I did that and he got in,probably there now.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/cozybed.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/stepdoggy.JPG Fritz in my bed this morning and on the front step after having a stroll around the front yard.I had just watered the plants.Last night Fritz went up with Mom,then he came back down and got under the little couch and started growling at me.i asked him what he wanted,thought he wanted me to go to bed so I turned off the computer.Instead,he goes to the cellar door and wants treats,told him he had enough,then he went upstairs.Mom told me to get him some of his new fgood,he aste that up,then slept with Mom..At some point he came to bed with me and around 20 after 2,he started whining,told hom to be quiet and go to sleep,he did.About 2 hours later,he heard something outside,started barking and after that was in the kitchen,he wanted a drink,so Mom got him a drink,that was what he whining about earlier.He was quiet after that,either sleeping on hte ohter side of the bed or right tight to me.This morning,we had toast,bacon and eggs,didn't want toast,had a little bacon and eggs,went outside for a stroll and is now laying in the front window.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/gazeydog.JPG Fritz gazing out from the front step this morning.As you can tell by the wet spots,we had a little rain yesterday,quarter of an inch,helps a little ,though we need much more,it has been a dry summer here.Fritz went to bed with Mom and around midnight woke her up wanting a drink of water.Sometime later he got up on my bed and slept at my feet,never heard him get up.At 20 after 5,he went to Mom wanted Mom to get up,Mom didn't so he stayed there.Crawled up with Mom as she read the paper,had my cereal,then went out on the front lawn wandering,came in and had a big run,ended up on Mom's chair.Fritz now under the dining room table,protecting a sock that Mom had dropped,my sock.

Oh Fritz there you are again outside among the pretty flowers with your handsome self right in the midst. What a pretty sight you must make to passersby. Barry, your lawn is so nice and green. Mine is pretty much burnt out now from lack of rain. :( Fritz, you give that sock back to Barry. :) He doesn't need holes in his socks. :) My Bella used to love to steal socks too. Now the only thing that she really still steals is tissues. :)

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/guardyboy.JPG Fritz on guard this morning on the front step.Fritz started off sleeping with Mom,just before this ate his supper and then he kept Mom awake scratching and licking.Around Midnight,he needed a drink,mom had a hard time going back to sleep.After the drink,he was going to lift his leg and that's when Mom took him to his cage.This may be where he ends up staying.Had his morning wander outside,not sure if he had the cereal or toast,now in Mom's chair curled up.Right now a little cool outside 60 fahrenheit,going up to 75-82 depending on who you listen to,maybe a few showers by Thursday,nothing significant.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/lawnyguy.JPG Fritz this morning wandering and eating grass.After supper and later all he did was sleep,Mom thought he wasn't feeling his best.Every year at this time,he develops some allergy that causes causes him to itch so he has to scratch it.I went with Mom to the vets yesterday to get some pills called Vanectyl-P.Has to take them twice a day and then once until done,30 pills in the bottle.Yesterday ,Mom gave him one,thought he had swallowed it,apparently he held it in his mouth and spit it out later.Finally got one into him last night.He slept quiet all night,i had a great sleep, to 25 to 7,Mom and Fritz already up,Mom reading the paper.Fritz was hungry today,hardly ate yesterday,had my toast and cereal and Mom's,Mom said she was not going to give him a bit of our food ,she slipped,guess I did too.he has got out of the window and gone to the bedroom and sleeping on the side Dad used to sleep on.

While she was gone,Fritz stayed in the window,at the back door and on her bed.Mom has gone up to my siter's for a few minutes,Fritz up at the back door,just had his water.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v334/fritz26/explorer.jpg Fritz out on the front lawn exploring this morning.He didn't go right to bed when Mom did,I lifted the couch to get him to go,he growled at me so Ii left him there.Later on I got the fly swatter out to go after flies and he go nuts when he sees a fly swatter and he came out and he went upstairs to Mom.We had thunder and lightning and some much needed rain,Fritz went nuts when this happened,Mom gave him Gravol,a little to late,he wander around panting and not staying still so put him in his cage until it ended,he hoots and hollers when you put him in there but soon quiets down.He is now out and in the window,may be more storms later.Fritz had my cereal and toast after he got up and then wanted out,this was before the storm came.The kitchen smells of Chili Sauce that Mom made,smells good.

Mom just found out today from my Aunt that my Cousin's Ed's wife has a brain tumor and they have a son getting married in August 2008.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/subtime.JPG Fritz beside Mom this afternoon wanting some of her sub sandwich.You can tell he has a Purple scarf on with a little Blue.The sandwich had onions which he can't have,had some cake for dessert.Onc ehe was out of the van to go in to the groomers,he wqs tugging like crazy,couldn't wait to get in,scratching at the door and and fairly running down the stairs,he saw the cat and jumped on it.He saw a little girl there today,barked at her,usually,maybe wearing a hat.Fritz didn't want to leave,he sat down,wasn't moving,so picked him up.Put him down outside,he was just going to sit again so carried him to the van where he sat on my lap panting all the way home,even with air on in the van.Except for eating,all he's done is sleep and that is what he is doing now in the kitchen under a chair.mom talked to Shannon today and they went to get results from Samantha's tests an all is well,nothing wrong.More bad news, a neighbor across from us has cancer.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/zonked.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/cleanyboy.JPG Fritz zonked in the chair this morning and him doing what he shouldn't be doing licking his paws.Mom put him in his bed last night with no difficulty.I let him up,he went right to mom's bed.After that ,came out to the living room and started licking again,Mom telling him to stop,so he came and got up with me on the couch and waited until I had cereal and toast,then he ate it.he went out on his wander outside,then back in.We went shopping,he was behind the livingroom couch and stiill there.I boght a Harry Potter book,Order of the Phoenix,now have them all.Mom bought a purse for Marlene for Christmas.We had a early supper of Big Macs and Fries,Fritz had a few fries and a little of the Big Mac.He has been at his paws again right now,Mom says she will take him to the vets if he doesn't stop it.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/bedpuppy.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/grassystroll.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/stepwatch.JPG Fritz snoozing on Mom's bed this morning,out for a stroll on the front lawn and on sitting on the steps watching for anything.He slept in his own bed,Mom had to get him a treat to get him out of the window last night so i could pick him up and put him downstairs.Went down this morning to open the cage,he didn't move,I came down again and he was out.He didn't come from the bedroom until i was out watering plants and he had some cereal.After i was in,he wanted outside.Mom saw something funny,Fritz had spotted a Squirrell and chased it up our Maple tree.The Squirrel kept looking at Fritz,Fritz looking the other way,Squirrel disappeared.Fritz now resting in the window.Hasn't played much with his toys lately,don't know if he is starting to slow down,he sure wasn't slow at the groomers on Thursday .He don't scrartch all day,but at night it really bothers him,might have to do something about it.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/cageyguy.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/stepresty.JPG Fritz this morning,no hurry to get up,was there for at least half an hour before coming up and having my cereal and Mom's toast.Fritz out on the front step resting.We went to Swiss Chalet for supper,we each chicken dinner with fries and shared a Ceasar Salad,had Butterscotch Sundaes for dessert,brought Fritz home some chicken for a treat.Had a little Cherry Strudel later,Fritz cleaned the plates.Had to give him a piece of wiener so we could get him to bed,had mom come down,he barks when it is me putting him in,with Mom there he doesn't bark.Fritz now up on Mom's chair.Showed a little bit of a dog show from Saskatoon,Saskatchewan,saw a Bichon big puffy head,mom wishes the cut Fritz like it.Also a Irish Setter,a Sheepdog a Poodle some Beagles,a Cocker Spaniel which won the show.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/guardpup.JPG Fritz on guard on the front step this morning.When it comes time for bed,Mom gives him a piece of wiener with a pill inside,then gives him another piece as a treat for taking it.I then pick him up and go downstairs with Mom,I put him in the cage she closes it.If it was just me doing this,he barks,Mom comes along he stays quiet.I let him out this morning,didn't come out right away.He went to Mom on the bed and he came out when I was having brakfast,sat next to me until I finished the cereal,gave it to him,then he started begging for toast.After he had the toast,he goes out and wanders around,then sits on the step.he saw Gracie the other Bichon he knows in her yard barking,people that bought the house next to them pruned some branches from a tree and they were laying on the ground,Gracie barked at the branches,knew they shouldn't be there,Fritz would have barked when some thing shouldn't have been there.Fritz was in the kitchen curled up,Mom was washing the floor there,so he had to move to the livingroom,he did,Mom said good dog for him moving.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v334/fritz26/yawnydog.jpg Fritz in between the couch and the end table giving a big yawn.Fritz had some of my Peanut Butter and Jam sandwich for lunch,after this all he did was sleep, by the curtain,behind the couch anywhere comfy.Cleaned my plate from supper which was Potatoes and Roasst of Pork,dessert was Rasberry Pie,too messy for him,he would have his face dirty.Mom went to gift shop,Fritz was sleeping behinmd the couch,came out when I came in and was in the window,barked at some kids,nothing new to him.Tonight,he wanted water,got that after he kissed me and shook a paw,didn't want it right away,wanted out,stayed out a little bit.After coming in,wanted the dish of water on the coffee table,drank it from there,h ehas been asking mom and me something,probably wants upstairs too early for that yet.He has to have his pill yet.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/stepperguy.JPGFritz keeping watch on the front step this morning.Somehow he knew I had finished my cereal that he wanted in to have it he did and later had the toast.He spoted a fly flying around in the livingroom,he spotted it and his head darted all around around following it.I tisa to go up in the 90's here the next 2 days with humidity making it feel like the 100's so will probably have air conditioning on,also a smog alert for this part of Ontario and other parts of Southern Ontario.

I think you all eat really good food up there. It's a good thing me and the girls don't live there, we would be inviting ourselves over all the time :D

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/relaxingdog.JPG http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/comfypup.JPG Fritz relaxing on the front porch this morning and a few minutes later on the front step.I went and let him out,he went to Mom,after Mom got up,he came out to the livingroom and wanted outside.I think he had his cereal and toast when I was out watering.He barked at one kid this morning wearing a hat ,a couple of kids who cut across our neighbor's lawn twice every day and kids just sitting waiting for the bus.Mom bought Fritz a new bed yesterday,hasn't tried it yet,maybe today.I found out he gets a Rosette for finishing 3rd in the contest and we get a grooming tool also.He is now in the front window laying down.He doesn't seem to play as much as he used too.i think I read it somewhere around the age of 5 they start to slow down,hard to believe with the way he goes on at the groomers every 5 weeks.Last night,I wanted him to come in,he growled at me twice but he did come in.

Delilah is 8 now and she's really slowed down. She still plays and runs around but not like she used to. Daisy, on the other hand, is 6 and she plays more. I can't figure it out :confused: :)
