I've had several days off during the week these last 2 weeks - my schedule's kind of nuts - working in the medical profession - weekends and holidays are just a part of my life that I've accepted.
But I worked 3rd shift 2 days last week took a vac day and then had 2 days off b/c I worked the weekend and then 2 days off after the weekend. And tonite and tomorrow I go in 3rd shift and then a 3 day weekend.
Yesterday I didn't have any plans so I decided that Keegan and I would go to the dog park - we had quiet time there b/c there was only one dog and 2 people there when we got there and they left shortly after we got there. I made myself comfortable on a picnic table - and read Harry Potter while Keegan laid in the shade.
I think she was just happy to be outside without the neighbor kids all over her like usual. (but that's a neighbor rant thread)
I didn't take many pics but did get a few
here's a couple -
here's the happy girl....see how well her bald spot is filling in?

and Phred it isn't just leaning "off vertical" against the fence - I *THINK* it is stuck in the ground - not sure - there's a stake in the ground its stuck on - I think - but then again I didn't inspect it.....

Hi pretty Keegan. I bet you enjoyed having that big park, the shade, the beautiful weather and your Mom all to yourself. And I know that Mom enjoyed spending the day with you. Loved the pictures.

Keegan is a doll.. I have the same exact problem with kids and my dogs. so I like to go to a park with not many people.

Looks like a relaxing day!

Ahhh there's the BRD! I've really missed seeing that girl this year. Make sure you give her some lovin' from me OK?

Her bald spot is growing in nicely.

The day sounds wonderful I'm glad you were able to enjoy some peace and quite with just you and your girl:)

Staci, I know two Golden Retrievers and an English Bulldog who would have loved to have shared that time with you and Keegan! I should say I know one human lady (ME) that would have loved it, too!!! :)
