Awww - beautiful fluffy guy - stay home and safe, handsome Potter!

I guess he will be staying with you, and not moving?

Yeah I think he is here to stay. I see him stretched out on his back all fours up in the air and don't really think I could part with him. A few other families have tried to adopt him and name him also, that part doesn't bother me but it scares me that he crosses the street.

Potter is GORGEOUS! That part about the street crossing would scare me too! Fortunately none that I've ever had have cried to go out. THANK GOODNESS! I hope he does stay close by, and safe.

Pawla, he was allowed out the first 5 years of his life before I inhereted him and he is a bit on the wild side...

OK. Do you know any handy people? There are a couple of PTrs who have large outdoor enclosures for their kitties, with a cat flap to let them in and out.

I think Lisa is one....Freedom the other?

There is also something called a Purrfect Fence.

Maybe he could get used to being outside, just not as far as he likes.

Catty, That is a great idea, only problem is I have a large trampoline and a large pool and those 2 items totally take up the back yard.

My sister had a cat like this and when she moved he was okay staying in, I guess since it was a new house, maybe I should move :D

Yeah, funny how that happens. I guess the new house interior becomes their territory!

So, when are you having the moving sale? :D

...and I guess the trampoline gets used a lot? ;)

Hopefully Potter decides to stay where he is most comfy, INSIDE! He just needs to learn first!

Potter is a great name, for such a handsome kitty! :D

Lut, I have always thought he looks like your Zazou!

I did not name Potter, my brothers family was into harry potter, the dog was harry and the cat was potter.

When my brother died harry went to live with my brothers best friend.

I guess it would be hard to teach an old dog, uh cat, new tricks. I just hope he stays safe! He's such a gorgeous boy!

And hes easy as magical as Harry Potter and is way better looking.
I personally have given up with the Ova collars after so many were lost or ruined.

Gary, I am actually not much of a harry potter fan and neither are my kids, we seriously wanted to rename potter but nothing else stuck. By then I had put him on the pets insurance and "potter" was his name on all his medical files so..oh well...

I was wondering about the collar also, since you just pull to take it off. I was too scared to buy a regular collar though.

He's very handsome and does look a lot like Zazou. I wish you the best of luck with "house" training him. Maybe time and age will help.

Thanks jazzcat, he is very very affectionate, quite the lover cuddly boy but then he has this independent side, it is different. My rb gigi went out at times but always stayed close to home this is unchartered territory for me.
