Today a friend (not a close one), made comments on a couple images on my facebook photos.. However they were not photos of me.. They were photos of my younger sister.
Hes not the first one to say it.. but my sister & I don't see it at all... When my sister had an operation, she was crying for me (she refused everyone else) & the nurses thought we were twins & they all awwwwed... I swore up & down I was her older sister by over 3yrs, but it took ID to convince these people lol

So tell me, do we really look that much alike?

I'm the one in the images & my sister is the one in the attachement

You do look a lot alike...I see where you could be mistaken for twins but since I know that you are not it's a little harder for me to picture.

I think she does look younger, but you definitely have a baby face, so I can see why people would make that mistake.

You look like sisters, but not like twins! Don't take too much stock in that. When I was a nanny, people would ask me if my "daughters" were twins. Well, A) they weren't my daughters. I was Ad's babysitter, and Gi was a school friend of hers I also took care of a couple days a week
B) Neither of them looked like me
C) Gi is Portuguese, and looked every inch of it - petite, delicate features, long, thick black curly hair, dark olive skin, very dark brown eyes ... Ad, although the same age, is of German/Polish, etc. descent - was 4-5 inches taller, short, light brown hair - barely enough to brush, green eyes, broad cheekbones, and very fair skin ...

and yet people repeatedly asked "are they twins?" in all seriousness!

You guys do look like sisters, there's no denying that.

I don't think so. There is a family resemblance, but not like twins.

People use to think my sister and I were twins too. There is a 2 year differance in our age. My sister has always been a little heavier than me and one time someone mistook me for her but I didn't realize they thought I was her and said "Man! You have lost a lot of weight!" (I had been real sick and had) so I said "Yea, I been really sick but I am recovering", then he went to talking about something I had no clue what he was talking about and realized he thought I was my sister. We never thought we looked alike either and never could figure out why they thought we were twins.

I don't think you look like twins, sisters YES, twins NO!

I dont think you guys look like twins but can tell you are sisters.. I hear that I look like my older sister ALL THE TIME!!! We even have people stop us in cars at red lights and ask if we are twins. Once someone thought my sister, my cousin and me were triplets even! No matter where I go I get mistaken for my sister or asked if we are twins even though she is 2 and a half yrs older than me.

I wouldn't call you both twins, but you both have the same face. You'd look more alike if you had the same hairstyle.
