Okay. I touched on this in the Yahoo Photomail thread below.

I just tried copying all versions of a pic from Photobucket - shared URlL, URL, IMG and the HTML

Nothing worked.

Any ideas?

I sometimes have to send photos in the email for people whose programs can't open attachments.

If I Google this, I still get the Yahoo PhotoMail crap.

Thanks. :)

It's never worked for me either mate.
So I'll keep my eye on this thread....maybe someone else has the solution.

Solution: Use Outlook Express :D ;)

Youll have to make sure your email is in rich-format and then you'll have to pretty much code in HTML if you're looking at the code... or if Yahoo has it (I'm not sure as I don't use it) don't they have a button to click to add a picture??

Usually I just attach the photos to my emails though, I don't bother with embedding them.

CN - I do have Outlook, but not express. Not crazy about them as they are not webmail.

I'll try the Rich text thing....whatever! LOL

Here's what works for me.

Open up a new message. Make sure the format is set as to HTML

With the message open, on the Insert menu, click Picture.

Click on Browse and find the picture you want to embed.

Click Open

Click OK

The picture appears in your open message.

It is actually better to send the picture as an attachment, as that way you are more certain the people will get it. And I see attachments in the email when I open it, as I am sure other email programs do as well.
