What I like about myself

I thought it might be fun to name things that people like about themselves. We woman especially are so negitive about ourselves, our bodies, our intelligence, our talents. We let men often give us a sense of our own worth. Bad, bad, bad. We are priceless each and everyone of us, with or without a man to tell us. So I will start. Please write down 7 yes 7 things that you like about yourself. However you can't say I am giving or loving or patient. It has to be a talent, not an emotion.

1) I grow lovely plants.
2) I am a hard worker.
3) I have commom sense.
4) I am a born leader.
5) I can multi-task.
6) I am intelligent and creative.

I'm so glad you posted this thread. I was going to post in your "If I could change one thing" thread, but lately I've been trying so hard not to harp on the negative things in life. Since there are so many unfortunate things going on in my world. SO, this thread is a good balance to that one.



1. I'm an okay photographer.
2. I can cook and bake well.
3. I have done so well with my 4 wonderful dogs.

1) I know a lot about PotC and Johnny Depp

3) I am on the computer 80% of the time yet I still get all A's.
4) I read tons of books.
5) I am mature for my age. (Only when I want to be though.)
6) I have a good vocabulary and I can pronounce many words. (Although I do have difficulty spelling them)

This is a very interesting thread and I have enjoyed reading it and thinking about what to answer. It is *hard* to think of positive things about ourselves isn't it?

a good friend
honest & fair
pretty hands
clear skin

This thread is really good. Gets you in touch with your Self.

I have been working on, where I stand, what I want to do in life these past 4 years and started realising my dreams one by one, always looking ahead and learining all along! Its been a great ride :0)

So, this is me:

1. I am very proud of being able to do what I always dreamt of doing. (and will keep on doing it ;0)

2. I am a good scuba diver.

3. I can cook really well.

4. I am a good make up artist (helping people look and feel better gives me satisfaction)

5. I like people for what they are not for how they look. (Being able to look inside somebody and bring out beauty is awesome)

6. I am adventureous in my travels, cookery and every day life.

7. I am a perfectionist in whatever I do.

8. I love life, just any life (except cocraoches'!)

9. I am talented in doing manual things

10. I learned to love myself for what I am, to please myself not always trying to please others.

11. I have pride whenever I look at my cats and family.

12. I learned to say NO whenever I feel someone is taking advantage.

Really don't want to give the feeling of being in love with myself, but after a really bad experiance at work I had to work really hard on the above issues.

Still got a lot to learn!
