LOL, One of my co-workers is moving on to a new position within the company and will be leaving our office next week. She's a huge cat lover and we all share a quirky sense of humor. I think for her going away party we'll have to bake her a cake:
Kitty Litter Cake (http://www.adoptacatfoundation.org/kitty_litter_cake_recipe.htm)
The ingredients sound good, but you have to love the presentation.
I could NOT eat that on principle alone LOL! NASTY!

I submitted the recipe to the Hartford Courant food editor and they printed it. It's a wonderful novelty cake. But I guess alot of the readers were offended by it, and let them know it.
Oh well, to each his own, right??

But RICHARD...did Ed make the cake????
He liked the crumbs.... :D
The thing that I found that made the cake was to take one 'tootsie roll' and hang it over the side of the pan.

oh yeah, the tootsie roles are definitely the best part...I made one on Halloween for my office. Mind you, I had been here about a month but there are a large number of cat people so it was a great hit, especially once they tasted it.

One of my co-workers made the cake and it's in the fridge right now. It sounds great, but looks oh so litter like :D . I've been trying to get over there for a while, but it's one of those can't seem to get away from the desk days.

OH OH OH!
Try Almond Roca for the "rolled in the litter" look! :D
