"Noname" has been here for an entire week and he's still nameless :( I can't shake this feeling that his perfect name is out there, but I can't find it. Or that nothing is good enough. I've looked through so many and nothing seems to fit. Why?! He needs a name!

Here are some pictures from today. His full week here!

He's learned to be naughty;

Emma likes him!....sometimes;

She still gets mad at him sometimes, but not for long-look at that face!

What a heartbreaker!

Hmmm... I'm awful at the name game. Do you want a human name or something else? "Hunter" comes to mind for both categories (since he's hunting fishies ;))

He actually looks just like one of Katie loves Kitties cats... Amos, Andy, Allen or one of them. He is just so darn cute! You could call him Oreo for being black on top, with the white middle (tummy) and for being so sweet! :p

Phantom. He looks like he's wearing a mask like the Phantom of the Opera.

I was wondering the same thing as catnapper. Human or non-human names? Or does it matter?

(darn, I really like Ethan for him. ;))

What about Felix? Like Felix the cat, or is that too obvious perhaps?

What about George, James, Harry perhaps a traditional name of sorts?

With that black mask around his eyes and the fact that you say he can be naughty, I'd call him BANDIT . I rescued a cat w/those markings and that's what I named him. Your guy is a real cutie.

How about Figaro? When I was little, we named one of my cat's kittens Figaro - mainly because he was a singer and he reminded us of the opera! :D

Rascal would be an Excellent Choice in Memory of Rascal Angel who used to visit us on the Porch.
They even look quite a bit alike.
Rascal Angels ready , willing and would love a Little Protege!

Charlie? I'm thinking here of Charlie Chaplin, another black-and-white mischief-maker...

Clooney? For George Clooney, who looks excellent in a tuxedo!

Coquin? (Rascal in French)? Piccolo (Small, Italian) or Tenger (Small, Dutch)?

Little No-name, you are an adorable doll baby kitty!

Thanks everyone! I've missed PT so much and really appreicate the suggestions and comments.

I really *love* the names you all suggested! Keeping many in mind, as something will fit soon, I know it :)

Gary-Mr.Scrappy and Rascal are such handsome angels! My mom has actually been calling him a little Rascal, not sure if it fits.

Jess-That site is amazing! I've looked through a bit of it already, very interesting!

Wendysue-LOVE the name Ace, but have an RB reptile named Ace.

To everyone else-Thanks so much for all the name suggestions. You are all so creative, I like many of them! I'm hoping to find something perfect that's also easy to say/call, like Emma. I seem to have different taste than people in my family. He WILL have a name soon!

I love Figaro because he looks like the little cat from Pinocchio. I thought of Figaro as soon as I saw him with the fish bowl in your picture. Figaro in the Disney Pinocchio movie had a fish friend, Cleo.

I also like Oliver for a little boy.

He's absolutely adorable, and what ever name you decide on will be perfect :)

Cassiesmom, when I think of the kitty being named piccolo (darn my Anime heritage) I just can't help but thinking of that green alien from Dragon Ball Z.... O_O :rolleyes: :eek:
Coquin sounds adorable though!!! :D

:D "NoName" is no longer NoName! I was worried he would never get a name, as nothing fit.

His name is Tux. It's officially Tucker, but is usually called Tux/Tuxie. I haven't though of it, which is odd considering he's a tuxie :rolleyes:, but Tucker is what I called him without even realizing.

He has a name! :D

Catty1

Tucker! I love it!

And when kittens get very fffted up (expression from my growing up) and bounce sideways and look fierce, you can call him "Tuff Tucker"! :)

Well, now we need an official pic-with-name, right? (hint) ;)
