I just wanted to make this thread so that we can say our prayers and honor and talk about relatives that died or was in the wars.

Thanks.
I was watching an interview with an Iraqi Vet who put it into perspective.
He said that when he was a kid today was all about BBQs, eating and ?
Now that he is a war vet, things have changed.

Now is the time to remind the young ones that this is a day to remember everyone who served in the armed forces, Especially the ones who died during that service.
Amen.

Dad and I went to the parade this morning. We almost always attend.
Dad was in WWII, and the car carrying the vets from that war, it has a few less every year.
Our city's parade honors the military AND police and fire. A bit different.
