I woke up yesterday morning to find crumbs in my bed. I never eat in bed so I had to scratch my head to try and figure out what they were. :) Then this morning I found the source of the crumbs. :)

I had given Ripley and Bella each a treat earlier in the evening last night. Ripley often will carry his treat around for hours. He won't eat it but also won't put it down and leave it lest Bella should eat it. Apparently he has taken them to bed the last few nights and someone is eating them in the night. :D

I know it is a silly thread, but I have silly dogs. :p

LOL..I've had that happen before. My one dog used to "hide" them for later..found treats in the pillowcase, inside my shoes, under the rug.

That is so funny! I don't find treats in the bed, but every so often I find a piece of stray (clay) cat litter! That can cause an ouchy when I lay on it!

There are certainly far worse things you could have found! :D :D ;) Apparently you should post your "no eating in bed rule" where Ripley can see it!

LOL!!
I've not found treats in my bed before! LOL!
But I've found toys hidden in my blankets!

How funny!
Guess someone wanted a midnight snack! :D

It remains uneaten. :p At this point it has become a toy. :) I made the bed and tossed it onto the floor. He went downstairs with me, treat in mouth, and very carefully laid it down on the floor, one eye on Bella while doing so. :D

Here are a couple of videos of my silly boy with his treat. Keep in mind I gave him this treat at 8:00 PM last night and it is still in one piece now at 10:23 AM the next day. :)

And this moment, back upstairs and back on the bed, one eye on the treat and one eye on me. :D

Oh my gosh, too funny. :D Ginger often hides her treatsies for later, too. I love the last picture. :)

That's so funny! That's just like Fenway. I went to do the laundry and found cookies in the laundry basket. Fenway hid them in there.

I've never found dog treats in bed, toys yes. :) Ripley is so cute. :)
That little tail goes a mile a minute.

Oh, Pam, that is a riot. I can't stop laughing. In this house no treat ever makes it more than 2 inches from whence it was dispensed. Raw hides, however, are carried around in a similar fashion to what you described, then hidden in very good hiding places, only to have the secret revealed by too diligent guarding of same.

Ripley, you can come sleep in my bed anytime. I could use a good buddy to whom I could ascribe as the source of the crumbs in my bed.

Oh that must have been so stressful for Ripley :D

Oh how funny, Pam! I can't believe a treat can last that long! In this house, treats are rarely even chewed, they're so "delicious" they can't even take the time to chew them :) They simply break it into 1/2 or so and *GULP*. Haha Boone is the biggest oink, he'd go insane if there was a hint of anything eatable being "stored for future consumption".

Your dogs are just the funniest things! Thanks for posting this, it was a riot!

LOL!! My grandma's dog carries around her treats for hours too. :D

Nothing would last that long in this household. ;) :D

Funny you should show that :) Dasher eats his Milkbones in my bed all the time. And it's where I sleep so I always have crumbs in the bed. But I don't mind. I think it's cute. That is hilarious!(videos) I give Dasher one before I leave he won't even wait until I close the door.
