To my profound sorrow I found out that Edward likes crack.

IT's my own fault.

I notice that he has been acting funny lately.
It started when I taught him to go to my mom's house on his own.
I'd open the door and he heads over to the back door of my mom's place.

Now that he knows when I go to the front door of my place, there is a chance that he will go a-visitin'

-------------------------

It became painfully clear one day-
In the late afternoon when the sun is in the right place, ther is a sliver of light between the food jamb and the screen door. It makes the door look likes it's open!

Ed sits in front of the screen and begins his assault!

It's claws, crying and "can you open the door for me, I want to go outside?"

Hmmmmm,
WAIT A SECOND!

Whenever I walk into my house to get something I breeze in and do not bother to latch the door.

Ed, asleep on his perch next to the screen door will awaken, look at me and then at the door...

Because the door is left open a crack he knows that there is a possibility that he's welcome to venture outdoors!

Now,I have to be super careful now that he is addicted to the crack (of an open door). I say, "You cannot go out..." or "Dude, get off the screen!"
Just like any offspring, He dohn't listen at all!

I am crushed, I thought I'd be a better role model than that...

I started him on his addiction! :o

---------

So, A word to the wise.

Don't let your cat get addicted to "crack".

JUST SAY NO!!!!! ;)

Thats why I enclosed the front porch Richard.
It was not inexpensive but anythings better than the possibility of lsoing one of my Furr Children.
Theres just something about Our Cats that makes them go in the place that we want them to go the least.
