My surgery is on Monday-Already missing PT! - Update

Since I'm going to be gone for quite awhile(only a week but it feels like an eternity :( ), I thought I should also announce my upcoming surgery.

I'll be having a total knee replacement on Monday, very early. I'll miss everybody and all the latest Pet Talk happenings. Take care everybody!! :)

Oh, ask lots of questions - if you haven't already, and follow doctor's orders. Almost everyone I know who has had a knee replaced really loves it once the healing process is over.

I asked a million questions at the drs. and pre-op visit yesterday, Karen. I am thinking only positive thoughts that this has to be better than the lousy knee I have now. :)

I didn't realize you had surgery coming up Terry! You will most certainly be missed but just "kick back" and take it easy during your time away. I'm glad I saw this before you left for the hospital. I remember you mentioning a bad knee (or knees) but I didn't realize you had scheduled surgery. We will, of course, miss you but are wishing that as a result of this you will be pain free! If I lived closer I would volunteer to take care of D&D while you are laid up, but then, of course, you would have to fight me to get them back. :p :p Prayers going up for you Terry!

Terry was able to start walking yesterday, and today walked from her room to the nurse's station and back. So she is doing really very well, and her daughter - the one I called for the update - says she hopes to be home Saturday, but maybe even Friday if things keep progressing as well!
