This is Toby, my almost 9 year old (on June 19th). He's, by far, the best cat I've ever known! If you believe in feline soulmates (I do), he's mine.
He grabbed my heart when I went to the shelter with my sil and she adopted his twin, leaving Toby in the cage by himself...I was bawling like a baby and wouldn't leave without him. I had to call my husband though because we had several cats and were living in an apartment. They were five weeks old and had been raised by a local vet at his office. Toby was their favorite because he has a milk spot on his upper lip, lol.

Please share yours with us...

Tobias is gorgeous!!! I've never seen an odd eyed cat like him before, with two different shades of orange/yellow. That is very unique. What a handsome man!

Levi is a cutie too! :D

hello there, tobias, levi (and zoee!) ;)

I'm eclypse altanta. I know I look bright, brillant or blizzard here but at home, I am one most shy cat! I can't hear anything at all so sometimes I get scared and watchful... very very inquistive also! I prefer staying under bed than seeing new guests.. but, sigh, it won't stop meowmie from smooching me all over!! what is oh your pink nose! about?? well, I go to her everynight at bedtime, it oughta be under the blanket then I can comfortly purr all my heart out aloud. special moments I can give her. snuggly, hidden spots and dark are must! I always am the only one that show meowmie any new surprised house holes! *proudmeows*

I've been with her since 2003. she found me on petfinder and I was only about four hours away from her! when she picked me up, she also took my best-buddy, clayton too! look here (http://www.specialpetsrescue.org/happytails.html) at bottom and see how young we were! I just turned four last week - wow, time flies so fast ...

anyway, nice meeting you all! :D

Oh, I love them all! So gorgeous...

ratchet22, is Levi's right eye green and is she/he solid white?
I see more green left eyes than I do right ones in an odd-eyed cat. I wonder why??...

sandragonfly, does eclypse have hearing difficulties? The vet said Toby might but after 6 years, he doesn't...thankfully.

luckies4me, thank you!
His eyes are burnt orange and apple green...but he started with two yellow/green ones. The right one turned orange when he was around three years old and he lost the yellow in his left one about the same time. He's been looked at and the vet gave him an ok so I just sit and enjoy. Here's a pic of him before it changed.

It's kind of wierd though. It kind of feels a little off-balanced when I look at him...I can't focus on both eyes at once. I find myself being drawn to one or the other...do ya'll do that too?
It makes taking his picture really hard too because they glare differently from each other so I can't use a flash, even when I'm off center. I have to use nothing but natural light for him.

I know I've seen more than these three around here... ;)

How odd. I wonder what makes them spontaneously change color. That is very interesting! I wonder if anyone has done any studies...hrmm. Makes ya think. :)

All of your odd-eyed cats sure are gorgeous.:) I have one too. Her name is Ziggy Stardust and she was already named by another pet talker K & L. I liked it so I kept it. Both she and her brother were dumped in a feral park last summer in Arizona. K & L found them and brought them home to foster them. I had 5 other cats at the time and I was hoping that another PT'er would decide to adopt her.

I fell in love with her pictures and I couldn't stop thinking about her so I decided to adopt her. She's been here since Aug.26,2006 and she'll be a year old on June 23rd. She's very scared towards people but she loves me and all of her siblings adore her. I've never seen an odd-eyed cat with her markings before so I think that she's very unique. I'm so glad that I decided to adopt her. She's such a sweetheart.

Here are a few pictures of her.

yes, eclypse is totally deaf. she's very quiet girl though. you say, I can't hear if she's loud sometimes but we have had many people coming over, said she has the cutest meows! :D
