Fenway passed his CGC test this morning. He was the first one to take the test (which is a good thing because he was getting antsy after awhile). He did very well and everybody clapped at the end (which freaked him out because he doesn't like clapping). So again, it's a good thing we went first.

I may enroll him in a therapy dog class but I'm not sure how well he will do. We'll see.

Tonight I made him a chicken & cheese omlet because he was a good boy and I took him to the dog park.

:D

Congratulations on being a Canine Good Citizen. If you can be a good citizen,I don't see there being any problem in being a therapy dog as long as the people don't clap!

Congratulations!!

I was thinking of having 1 or both of my dogs take the test, but after reading some of the descriptions of the parts of it, I am pretty sure that Lucy would fail miserably. She is completely unable to sit still when someone comes over, she has to say hi, and wiggles herself all over the place. Same with another dog. She's very well behaved, but the sitting still thing....not so much! :D

Congratulations for making your dog a good citizen. I would go for therapy dog, you'll find it very interesting and one more bragg for you. If your dog isn't suited you can always drop it, but it might condition him and help him relieve some antsies....lol.
