How do you know the sex of your 'keet? I have two birds and I am not sure of their sex. Can anyone help me?

PopCornBird,

Thank you for the much needed information, and yes I am a first time bird owner, who had a crazy idea to see if she could get her birds to breed. I have determined my albino bird to be a female. While though I still am a bit unsure of the other bird. It is a bluish/gray bird and his nostrils are blue, yes, but around the airholes it is white. Some have told me that white rings about the airholes indicate that the bird may be 1. young not mature enough to breed; 2. possibly be female? <-----Still 50 % unsure of what type I have. The best time to breed them after determining the sex of course would be after the fall molt in November? Blah, Im such a newbie....
