My Magic has the runs from all the different foods she has been on because of this recall and I would like to use some Probiotics mixed with her food. I was using Eagle Pack Transition but since it contains rice protein concentrate I refuse to use it. Can anyone recommend another brand that does not contain rice protein or any glutens?

Look into VF Formula from http://arkat.com, go from www.petcurean.com, or Pinnacle from http://www.pinnaclecat.com

The only trouble is that these places are far off that stock these foods and they usually dont have samples. And a lot have not come to Catada as yet.
I will try this place on the escarpment as they have a lot of Natural Brands there.

Fragrance hound, maybe I already suggested this to you in a different post; if so, sorry to repeat.

Chicken Soup for the Cat Lover - none of that stuff in it; and the web site offers a "locate dealer" button to see if it is available near you.

Most of the good stuff is difficult to locate.

Just try the websites. If you can't find them near you, nothing is lost.

I did get small bags of pinnacle and go to try. I had to buy the big bag of VF.

Since I tend to live rural, I am used to making supply runs every few months and getting a good cat food is part of that.

I don't mind ordering online for something like this type of product. Has anyone ordered from http://search.onlynaturalpet.com/search.aspx?searchterms=Diarrhea

They look like they have some interesting holistic things to add into foods to help with diarrhea.

I'm currently feeding both my cats Blue Buffalo lite formula dry food. I am not sure if this is causing Magic's upset tummy and the runs or if it is something else. I have a vet apt. scheduled for this Saturday so I will see what the vet has to say.

I am so tired of trying to find the perfect food.

Edited to day that I just ordered this:

I hope it works.

Some of the Chicken Lovers food has been recalled, as well some Natural Balance.

My poor Magic still has diarrhea and I am not really sure what is causing it. I gave her a few pieces of the Blue Buffalo dry food and 30 minutes later she made a big mess in the liter box. Shadow is doing fine on the BB food.

I should have the probiotics solution by Wed. but I am wondering what else I should do from now until Sat. Both cats have a vet visit Sat. so I can get more info then but in the meantime what should I feed them? Do I stop the BB dry food? I have a few cans of tuna and mackerel fish would that be better for Magic's problem? I also have a can of California Natural salmon and sweet potato wet food. Should I give Magic that instead of the BB dry food?
