"Fat Cat" contest!!

let's see who has the "fattest" cat. by that i mean the one that weighs the most for their age/body size. now, remember this is just for fun and we all know each and every kitty cat is adorable, large or small! my Sapphire is almost 2 years old, and weighs a whopping 13.5 lbs. she's a Ragdoll tho, and their breed is naturally "big-boned" and have a larger bone structure than most other cats. any takers on this one?

I have three large male cats. Storm is 15lbs., Pepper is 17lbs., and Sunny is 12lbs. Pepper is the one that looks a little overweight to me. The other two look fine at this weight.

that is the same as my Emma! she is about 9 months, and weighs 9 pounds, and that may not sound like much, but she is FAT!! I will take and post her pic tomorrow..

I have no idea how much it's in lb, but my Tsoomi weights 7 1/2 kg.. he's a big boy!

YumYum weighs about 11lbs by now and is a little over 1 years old. She is a ragdoll too.
Dutchess weighs about 9 lbs and she is a Birman and is 5 years.

My Trevor will probably win the prize for "fat cat" here at Pet Talk, although he would prefer that the honors go to someone else. :o :o At his last visit at the vet's he was 19 lbs. He doesn't like me to talk about his weight as he is very sensitive about it. He eats IAMS Less Active but unfortunately is a real couch potato. :)

The vet told me today that Bassett is overweight too! But I already knew that!! She is 7.29 kg.. so that's 16 lbs!! My boyfriend Nathan just told me that 2.2lb = 1kg, so now we have a conversion chart! :D :D :D

my cat is "overweight" too. she's 13.5 lbs and the vet says she needs to go down to about 11 lbs. of course, I think she's perfect just the way she is! the bigger the kitty, the more there is to love! :D

Mischeif is 3 months old and already weighs 5 lbs. Tigger is 2 years old, he weighs 20 lbs. Peppurr is 1 year old and weighs 15 lbs. Vader, Twinkles, Spaz, Felix and Majesty are all in the 10 lb range.

Ritzy is somewhere between 12 and 15 lbs....I always think she is a bit "chubby" but vet says she is healthy and well within kitty normal parameters....(but I think he would say anything to get "Catzilla" out of his office) :)

We do "control" her food intake - and exercise (stairmouse, get the mousie)....she can really move that big kitty behind when she has a mind to!

Unfortunatley I can't because I don't have a scanner or digital camera!! :( And I can't figure out how to make the pics from my webcam small enough so that I can post on here! :confused:

I don't know what kind of cat Bassett is. I can try taking some pics and maybe emailing them to you? You can PM me if you like with your address. I will be away for the next two weeks but I can do it when I get back :D

I love all these pudgy kitty photos!! The words my vet used for Bassett was "She's a bit of a tub!" LOL :D :D
