Global Warining is Real.

MSNBC had a special on global warming last night.they put some people in an auditorium and the hot air in the atmosphere was very apparent....they called it a DEBATE.

Here is my version of tne bill that both houses passed and sent along to the president for a signature...

Dear Hooligans.
I'm will be leaving for vacation on July 1st.
Please feel free to help yourselves to what you can carry out of my home.

Having seen Dennis Kucinich in person, I can truthfully say that he is much more handsome than he appears on TV or in pictures.

And his clothes are quite expensive, I would guess.

Well if all the political canidates would not take individual jets to the same meeting, I would be more apt to believe they are serious about global warming. They could jet pool!!! ;) :D

I saw that Obama made a goof the other day when referring to the tornado death toll. When it stook at 10, he said 10,000. I don't believe he realized his error until some time later.

This was his answer later on....

As he concluded his remarks a few minutes later, he appeared to realize his gaffe. There are going to be times when I get tired," he said. "There are going to be times when I get weary. There are going to be times when I make mistakes."

I was born in Indianapolis, raised in Rockford, educated in Arizona, live in California and call Chicago my hometown.

Surely you can find something more substantial than Hillary referring to the place where she owns a house her "hometown" to pick on??? Perhaps her hair style or the color of the last suit she wore?

A place she has a home............

That she spends little to no time at. Memorial day, 4th of July, and other media op days, that's about it.

The place she represents?

She represents NYC, which is the major source for her votes. She couldn't care less about the rest of the state, unless she has a bevy of reporters with her so she can protest a Pentagon procurement decision to make headlines. She makes tours of the state, but never without media coverage arranged by her staff.

Heck, if it wasn't for an up for grabs Senate seat she wouldn't give a damn about the state at all.

Okay...let me try this humor thing...

George Bush Jr...born in Conn, attended Andover and Yale...got connected to the Alabama Guard...calls Texas his home state...what a hoot! LOL!

Ronald Reagan...born, raised and educated in Illinois...called California his home state. ROTFLMAO!

Others are too busy chopping fire wood....so funny!

GWB- lived in Texas for years before running for political office.

Reagan-worked in Hollywood for years before running for office.

HRC-Lived in NY for the minimum legal amount of time before declaring candidacy for the Senate, and has the gall to call Chappaqua, NY her "hometown".

If you asked me what my hometown is, I'd tell you a small town in Mass.

If you asked me where I live, I'd tell you NY.

If you ask me where I'm from, I'd tell you it was a loaded question.

Edwina's Secretary
05-29-2007, 09:42 PM
You call it gall....I suspect if Hillary said the earth rotates around the sun you would find something wrong with it.

Now here's a funny one. The new Monica....the woman charged with vetting candidates for the Justice Dept based on political correctness.

She agreed to testify before congress under a grant of immunity. Then refuses to answer questions pleading the 5th (and 6th)!

Now THAT'S gall...

Guess she missed the class at her prestigious law school when they discussed the meaning of the word "immunity." Probably getting her highlights done.

Republicans.......Bad, and female republicans are vapid nitwits.

Democrats.........Wonderful, and female democrats are the pinnacle of society.

Funny, I just looked at several stories about Ms. Goodling, and the only references I can find to her pleading the 5th are from before the grant of immunity.

Also, why would one plead the 6th? Please can I have a speedy and fair trial, Madame speaker?

At least make claims that make sense.

Edwina's Secretary
05-29-2007, 11:19 PM
Saw the tapes...she pleaded the 5th AFTER the grant of immunity. Why do I have to make sense of this? I am not the one pleading the 5th or the 6th....

Sorry...maybe you missed something. Sometimes you seem to suggest if YOU didn't see/read/hear something...it doesn't exist. And I thought only people who had done something wrong pleaded the 5th. You know...like gangsters and such. And why does someone who hasn't done anything wrong need immunity?

And btw....show me one time I have suggested Hillary is a pinnacle of society. In fact...I have said repeatedly that she disappointed me and I do not (regrettably) support her candidancy for president. Ouch. Truth.

I am just a seeker of truth and honesty.... ;) ;) ;) And humor...

If you're going to claim someone said something, it would be best to provide a link to a transcript or an article citing the quote. Being that it was congressional testimony, if it happened it shouldn't be too hard to find.

For someone who doesn't like Sen. Clinton, you certainly are the first one in this forum to jump to her defense whenever the slightest dig is sent her way.

The mayor of Lost Angeles is a freaking moron.

His wife is filing for divorce because he was having an affair with a spanish language newscaster.

But she DID do a report on the fact that the Mayor was getting a divorce...
She didn't report that she was the reason!

Hence the designation AG III ;)

Gore’s appearance on TODAY to discuss Live Earth was overshadowed somewhat by the arrest early Wednesday of his 24-year-old son in California on suspicion of possession of marijuana and drugs without a prescription. Al Gore III was allegedly driving a blue Toyota Prius about 100 mph south on the San Diego Freeway when he was pulled over by sheriff’s deputies, who said they smelled marijuana, according to the Associated Press.

Heartbroken Bush Runs After Departing Rove's Car :(

August 31, 2007 |

Sponsored by WASHINGTON, DC—A confused President Bush broke free from the restraint of Secret Service agents this morning and ran in pursuit of departing deputy chief of staff Karl Rove's car for several blocks down Pennsylvania Avenue before being outdistanced by the vehicle.

Bush sits in disbelief as his longtime buddy disappears forever and ever and ever.
"Why can't I go with him?" Bush tearfully asked advisers as the longtime Republican strategist's sedan disappeared over the horizon. "When is he coming back?"

White House staff were deeply moved by the scene, saying that despite their best efforts, no one was able to explain to the president that he would no longer be able to remain at his chief adviser's side. Onlookers were clearly choked up as a tearful Rove, trying to close the car door behind him, told Bush in a stern, commanding tone to back away.

"Go on…you hear me? Get out of here, I say!" Rove said. "I don't love you anymore, understand? Now get! Get!"

Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice witnessed the emotionally charged moment. "We knew that deep down [Rove] still cared, that he was only pretending to be mad at the president," she said. "But he had no choice. Leaving was the only way to avoid the ongoing Congressional inquiries."

Rove reportedly tried to prepare Bush for this inevitability in late July by taking him on a special fishing trip so they could spend some quality time together and he could also give Bush a brief rundown on how the presidency works. Rove said he "didn't have the heart" to break the news to the president, who fell asleep in their rowboat with the fishing pole still in his hands. On his last day, nearly two weeks later, Rove spent the whole morning with Bush before the tear-jerking exit, ruffling his hair, telling him to "be brave" and "listen to Cheney," and explaining that he was going to have to be "the man of the White House now."

Rove was finally able to leave the White House, despite Bush's heartrending stalling tactics.
Though Rove's resignation had been imminent for weeks, Bush appeared oblivious to the situation, which is evident in photos of him smiling as if nothing were wrong until the moment he discovered several suitcases near one of the West Wing's back-door exits. According to high-level administration sources, Bush asked Rove, "Where are we going?"

While sneaking the departing official out to a waiting town car, Secret Service agents were briefly able to deceive Bush by telling him Rove was just running down to the cellar to get him some ice cream. But when Bush heard the car's engine start in the driveway, he burst outside to stop Rove.

"I'll never forget the sight of the president, watching Rove's face in the back window becoming smaller and smaller as the car pulled away forever," Rice said.

The president continued to ask about his former adviser throughout the day, often clutching Rove's day planner, dialing his extension, and blinking uncomprehendingly when told that Rove was never coming back.

White House press secretary Tony Snow was finally called in to attempt to convey the reality of the situation to the president, but he was unable to do so.

"He kept looking up at me with those wide, innocent eyes, and I didn't know what to say," Snow told reporters. "Maybe someday when he's older, he'll understand how the public lost trust in his big buddy after a series of crucial political missteps, and how firing those attorneys and the..."

At this point in the briefing Snow fell silent, overcome with emotion, and moving many in the press room to tears.

White House officials say they would like to give President Bush more time to process the loss before pressuring him to appoint a new deputy chief of staff, since he does not yet appear ready to confront the concept of a "new Rove."

Bush sits in disbelief as his longtime buddy disappears forever and ever and ever.

Rove was finally able to leave the White House, despite Bush's heartrending stalling tactics.

What gets me is the fact that "he doth protest too much".

When I see any politician that has an agenda, in this case all the anti-gay rhetoric this moron has spewed, I get suspicious.

When a pol has a 'cause de jour' it's all meant to hide his real ideals.

----

The funny in this story is the fact that he was so cavalier about the incident-he'll never admit he's gay...so if the people were dumb enough to keep voting him in after what happened in the '80s, they deserve what they got.
