I just bought my son his first car ... and let me tell you, I feel older than dirt right now! Seems like just a few years ago I was getting my first car. So hard to believe my baby is almost sixteen years old. :(

Pretty cute little car, though. After I got used to driving it, it's very fun. I keep telling him if he screws up, I'm going to take it for myself. :D

Wow I wish you were my mom. Gosh I had to buy my van from my mother. What a cute car.

It is a Mitsubishi Eclipse. Well, maybe I should say in its former life, it was a Mitsubishi Eclipse. It's had a lot of modifications done to it.

 Wow!! Nice car for a 16 year old!! If I were his Mom, I'd be standing in the lurch, on, driving gloves, sun visor, just WAITING for him to screw up.

Happy Motoring, kid!

That's not fair!! My first car was a year younger than me!! It had no radio, heater or a/c. However, I miss the power that little Capri had. Oh, and did I mention it was my sister's first car too, so it was a hand-me-down car.
But my brother got a hand-me-down too....my dad's '78 Silver Anniversary Special Corvette!!!!! And then he got a brand new mini pickup (those were popular back in the 80's LOL)
You are definitely one cool mom!! :D

Will you buy me a car for my 16th birthday? ;)

That's a really awesome car. I'm in love with the color.

LOL ... no sorry, no adoptions. I can barely tolerate my OWN kids half the time! ;)

And before you think I'm TOO nice ... I got it from some folks who were in a bit of a pinch, I think. I actually paid less than the blue book value for the car without any modifications ... so we basically got the $4,000 of mods for free. Bummer for its previous owners, but good deal for us! :D

Wow he is one lucky boy, awesome little car, gosh in NZ if you have your car modified , which the young ones love to do, it cost you a bomb in insurance, infact some companies won't even cover you, is it different in the US of A?

Glad you got such a good deal though, he will think all his xmas's have come at once.

Hope he is a good driver and treats it well . :)

Oh, I'm sure. Not. I do well to get him to clean his room once in a while!
