Tiger's 12th birthday is NEXT Wednesday. I am very busy on Wednesdays so I will be celebrating it Friday with toys, treats, and fun.
I will be celebrating my best buddy's birthday. Tiger means the world to me. I thank God every night that he has lived 12 good years with us. Don't get me wrong, I love all of my dogs, but Tiger is my heart and soul dog.
My grandmother had Tiger for about 3 months before she went into a coma.My grandmother loved Tiger. She took Tiger on trips and just everywhere. My grandmother had gotten stung by a mosquito in Texas that left her with a very bad virus similar to the West Nile Virus. She stayed in a coma for about 4 months. We ended up taking care of Tiger and after she got out of the coma she wasn't able to take care of Tiger anymore so she gave him to my family. It was the springtime of 1995. I was only 9 years old.
No dog will ever compare to Tiger. He is a very spoiled dog that loves life and loves our family. (shh don't tell Tiger he's a dog.. He thinks he is one of us ;) )
We have some very fond memories of Tiger. Tiger loves to go riding. He loves helping me eat hamburgers. haha! Tiger likes chasing people when they touch our door.. Don't ask me why.. That is just what he does.
I remember when I was little, and if I would get sick my mom would come to my bed to wake me up and give me my medicine.. well, Tiger always knew when I was sick. He always stayed right beside me and Tiger would stand on top of me and protect me.
Tiger is big part of my family. He is the most loyal dog I have ever had in my life. No other dog will ever compare to him.
Tiger does really good for being 12. He can get down and rough play with all those younger pups.
I am going to celebrate Tiger's birthday Friday with gifts, treats, fun and good ole pettin.
