Tigger has vaccine sarcoma and needs his leg amputated. :(
If you have any experience with this, I'm sure Tigger's meowmie would appreciate hearing from you.

You can read more about Tigger HERE (http://www.imom.org/pin/general/tigger-cope.htm)
Keep up with her progress HERE (http://www.imom.invisionzone.com/community/index.php?showtopic=2583)
And donate HERE (http://www.imom.org/donation/online.htm)
You can donate using credit card, paypal or snail mail. Just make sure you specify the funds to go to Tigger Cope.

Here's Tigger thanking you in advance.

That is truly terrible , heart breaking News.
But with my recent medical Cat expenses and needing special diabetic shoes, all I can offer is prayers.
All the Found Cats are praying for Poor Trigger and there are Pet Angels with him now.

This is terriable news but we already know he will do well with 3 legs and it will not slow him down. (((((HUGS)))))) for Mom, being a "Mom" myself, I know how you are going to worry and how upset you must be.

How is Dear Tigger doing now.
We are praying that his surgery will go well, and that the loss of his limb will not slow him down at all and that his lifestyle will not be effected.
Would a New Mousie perk him up.
Please PM me your address and one and some Cat Nip will be on thier way.

I made a donation, and am trying to find the page with donation updates on it. No luck. How are the funds coming along?

They are probably waiting to give an update because a generous donor has issued a challenge. Any donations that come in in the next 48 hours (up to $300) will be matched! So, the donation you made is actually doubled!

All funds have come in! Tigger is scheduled for surgery on the 19th -- unless they have a cancelation and can get him in sooner.

Oh, I HOPE they can get him in sooner! That is really close to his 'safe' deadline!

If only there was an "elective" surgery they could move...I am sure there are other urgent cases!

But so glad all the money was raised! :)

It really does seem ridiculous that they'd make him wait. I mean, it's CANCER! Normally the sooner it's treated the better. It's not like they're scheduling a teeth cleaning! Grrr!!! I'd be adamant that Tigger be taken care of ASAP. That vet sounds like a jerk for making her wait.

Is there only one vet there?

I posted suggesting Kathy go there in person, if possible, a bit spiffed up and pleasant (REALLY hard right now, I know) to put Tigger on a cancellation list. Sometimes a personal touch makes all the difference - and something may even open up while she is there.

Stranger things have happened!

PT PRAYERS for Tigger!

Tigger is doing great and trying his best to sneak out the door(succeeded twice-caught twice). He is very much his perky self again - thank you for everything in saving this kitty.

I will be screening in the porch so he can have a good safe place to sun himself in the summer and winter. Not to mention a close up view of the birds in the birdhouses.

We are so glad that Tiggers home and in good spirits after his ordeal, and having my Porch enclosed was about the best thing that I did for the Found Cats.
We know that Tigger and his friends will enjoy thae great outdoors safely.

Ditto and the picture was really precious, "Aren't I still the handsome one? Go on, rub my tummy, you know you want to ;) "

Wishing you a speedy recovery and a long and happy life, Tigger.
