Here are a few pics of Saki. It has been hard to get any good shots of him lately because he never sits still. Him and Purrty are always playing and chasing each other around. The first one Saki has leaped on top of Purrty like he loves to do and they are wrestling.

The next one he is waiting for Purrty to come into the bathroom so he can pounce on her.

The next three are Saki in one of the cat trees.

Tracy, I wanted to let you know the results of the fecal culture I had done on him since he is still having piles of diarrhea. It came back positive for Campylobacter which is a bacteria. The vet said it is very easy to get and can be very hard to get rid of. It can also be passed to other animals and even to humans. Here is a little something that explains what it is: Campylobacteriosis is a bacterial disease caused by Campylobacter jejuni or Campylobacter coli. Campylobacter usually causes a mild to severe infection of the gastrointestinal system, including watery or bloody diarrhea, fever, abdominal cramps, nausea, and vomiting. A rare complication of Campylobacter infection is Guillain-Barre syndrome, a nervous system disease Saki is presently on two different medicines for this. I haven't seen much improvement yet, but considering he also has inflammatory bowel and trouble digesting food on top of this bacteria. So I imagine it might be awhile before he is better. Plus he will have bouts with the IBD probably for the rest of his life and have to be on the prescription diet food that he is now on. I don't know if any of your babies are having diarrhea problems but if they are or start having problems I would take them to a vet and have a fecal culture done. You can't just take a sample in they have to get a sterile one at the vet. That is about all for now.

I like that one of Saki in the bathtub waiting to pounce.
That reminds me so much of Scrappy 2, and her nawtee ways.
Scrappy 2 and Saki would certainly be twin terrors.

OH MY GOD! Was the first thing I said out loud! He is SOOOOO handsome! He is just stunning! I love his orange face! Thank you for the info about the bacterial infection. I am getting my babies in next week anyway for a check up so I will just have them do a fecal on all. Send lots more pictures! He is just too cute for words! I love him. Give lots of kisses to my cuddle bug!

Tracy this isn't a regualr fecal, this is a culture they do and send to a lab that takes awhile to get back. It is kinda expensive so unless they are having problems I don't know if you want to do it on all of them or not. To be safe though I think I would, but that is me.

Okay, I will ask the doctor about it. If it is very easily transfered to other cats, it would not be a bad idea to get them checked out. I am not worried about the money, I mean, I am, but I would rather be safe then sorry, ya know? Thanks again for the heads up.
