My very first job!!

Now that I'm 15, I decided it's time for me to get a job! I work at Subway and today was my second day. Wednesday was my first day, but it was really awful. I had no idea what I was doing... the person who was supposed to train me left two hours early and the guy who was there with me was completely stoned. So I was pretty much on my own. But today was a great day and I'm finally catching on to everything. :D
The reason I'm working is to put all my paychecks in a savings account and buy a car as soon as I get my liscense. I'm taking my permit test in April, so I hope I pass it! It really is not hard for me to save money... because I've never had any before! lol

Well, anyway, thought I'd share because I'm happy that I finally can do things on my own!
(Hopefully that will lead to some freedom from my mom, being the overprotective mom she is)

Congrats on your new job. I managed a Subway for 11 years. I loved it. I even got my food sanitation license through them. Subway is a great place if you work at the right one. Good luck, and I am sure you will catch on in no time at all.

Honestly, I was just trying to concentrate on my sandwhiches, but I had to correct him a few times because he kept forgetting the sandwhich right after they said it! :rolleyes: :(
