Late in the season the dogs start to run trails from memory, especially the ones we use alot. Today I decided to mess with them a bit....

We ran one of of most frequently used trails in the opposite direction. It's amazing how just going the other way changes things!

Originally we were going to a new trail entirely, but Mac found a way over the fence and tagged along. I didn't want to take two loose dogs to a new area(Daisy was along for the run too).

Mac had a great time playing in the deep snow!

Rolling in the deep snow!

Anvik is back doing longer runs. We went about 12 miles today. He can not understand why we ever have to stop!

Sundin was a happy little guy when we got home. I call this his "too sexy for my harness" pose! I love this little fella. We've made a lot of progress this winter. He has finally decided that I am not evil incarnate and lets me touch him. He works like, well, like a dog. He's always happy, always up for a run! He's a reliable leader and he's just freaking adorable!
I'm on holidays until after Easter. Expect lots of pics!
