She is so sleepy after her spay all she does is sleep unless there is food involved. This is her new blanket which she loves. She rolled herself up in it and was very comfortable when I saw her I had to take pics.

Thanks guys for replying. I guess maggie isn't as loved as the other dogs on here. She is doing well this morning and brought me her ball and wanted to play fetch but she'll have to wait 7 more days. Poor girl.

That's not true at all, you posted this at almost 10 last night so there probably were not as many people on. I'm not usually on that late, only rarely, and neither are many others. You should try not to take things too personally, it's upsetting unnecessarily for you when you do. There are a lot of threads and not everyone opens every one of them, especially late at night. I'm sure you'll get more replies during the day.

I'm glad Maggie is feeling better and never had any pups, that's MUCH better for her. She is adorable wrapped up in her blankie and will be feeling better in no time.

Oh, Maggie... I read the earlier post about you, too. I'm glad you are snuggled in your blanket after your surgery, and I'm glad you're showing interest in play. Lay around and let yourself heal for a few days before you start to play actively again. You and your Person take good care, please let her give you a pet for me. When I was little, my very best friend had a Boston terrier and your pictures remind me of good times with my friend. *pet*

Hey Maggie! We have a snow storm and a biting wind - move over a bit, I want to share that blanket with you!

She will likely take a few days to feel herself. Not only does she need to get over the effects of the anesthesia (sp?), but her hormones have been all over the place with false pregnancies and going into heat. It will take a bit for all that to settle down. As long as she is interested in food, mom, don't worry!

And give her a few pets from me, too!

Oh Maggie. I hope you feel better soon.
You look just like Beenie when she got spayed.
WHO SAYS MAGGIE ISN'T AS LOVED AS THE OTHER PT DOGS???? CRAZY!

Thanks everyone poor maggie doesn't understand that she cannot run and play. She is constantly bringing me things to play fetch with from balls to socks. lol I know she is just itching to go back to flyball practice as well. (btw how long do you think I should wait before she can go back?)

I would probably ask the vet if I were you. They know best. :)

I'm glad Maggie is getting back to her old self. She's adorable :D More kisses from us to you little girl :)

Thanks everyone! Today I loaded up Gracie and Lucy to take to flyball practice and poor Maggie ran to the door with he little nub wagging and got left behind. I felt so bad. Everyone there missed the little snorter.

Awww hehe, it always makes you feel so bad to leave one home doesn't it?? I hate that. It's for her best but it still make YOU feel bad. Soon she will join the rest of you again. Hope she heals up fast!

I was going to say the same. Wooohoo for getting her spayed. :D Is she leaving her "zipper" be?
