Little Decker the deck boy has turned into the sock thief! In fact he will grab and run with any article of clothing he can manage to drag. Imagine my surprise to find my bra under the dining room table one day.

I caught him in the act with my sock. He grabs it, kills it and drags it off to somewhere safe and quiet. Trying to fold laundry is a hard task around here.

He took my sock to the living room to kill.

Then he needed to get it somewhere safe and out of the open.

Into the tunnel with his prize.

Such a proud hunter!

Lori, I laughed out loud when I read about the bra under the dining room table! :p Decker is just sooooooooo adorable. The pictures are great! I love the look he is giving in the last two pics. First, the "yea, I have your sock, so what?" then the "I'm so proud of myself!" look!! :D

Excellent work, Decker! Capture those troublesome socks before they get out of control! Who is your assistant capturer in this picture?

You look a lot like my Cassie. She likes to play with clean socks, too! She likes to hold them down with her front paws and kick at them with her back paws. Clean wash cloths, hand towels, and socks are a problem that must be dealt with by my resident laundry specialist.

His cohort in crime would be his sister Moxie aka "TROUBLE".

Hey, Decker! RB Payton here. The trick is to get them straight outta da dryer when they're nice and warm, like this

Then, if Meowmie catches me, I stash it to the side and look sexy, like this

But the real trick is to hide them where no one can see them, like this

That last one looks like every photo that I have ever seen of the lion standing over her prey in the National Graphics.
A prouder hunter you are never going to see.

Doesn't he look proud of himself in the last pic, as if to say "Yeah, I killed it. You got a problem w/that?"

Oh My this is too funny :D Now I don't feel so bad about Eve dragging my flip flops up three flights and parking them in our bed along with all the furry mice she's managed to herd during the night. She too likes Daddy's stinky socks and we find those in some of the strangest places (don't even ask  ) :D Is it possible these delightful little kitties have all taken some inclandestine feline training designed to confuzzle the hooman mind??

I'm also pretty certain they understand our language and only choose to speak CAT :p A few days ago Eve accidentally spilled a glass of coke while she was trying to fish the ice cubes out of it :p Well the next day I was still finding the stickies everywhere and told her quite sternly that she had made the mess! I then went out to an appointment and when I got home Eve had dragged up one of my cleaning cloths (from the laundry cupboard) and placed it exactly atop the sticky spot  Her way of letting me know she was sorry and tried to clean up her mess mommy :D Needless to say all was forgiven and my little girl gots lots of hugs and snuggles for her efforts :D

Cats are the most wondrous creatures - aren't they

He must have taken lessons form Cocoa the Fry Bandit! I found a mangled fry by the front door and I had a burger and fries the night before. How it got there remains a mystery.

Decker looks so proud of himself, after all he did save his home and family from the dreaded sock mice! Groucho doesn't steal any of our clothing but we had an interesting dilemma a few months ago. I planned to make something for dinner that included shrimp. Took the chicken, sausage, and shrimp out of the freezer, put them in the sink to defrost then left for church. Came home to start cooking and everything was there except the shrimp! Soncat and I looked everywhere, under the cabinets, all the counters...no shrimp!!! To this very day we have no idea of where it went and the package never turned up. A few weeks later I planned the same dinner, took everything out of the freezer and into the sink. Went into the kitchen a short while later, Groucho had the package of shrimp!!!!! Fortunately the freezer bag was still shut and intact. We decided Groucho had to be the culprit the first time. It's amazing how cats can hide things that just cannot be found by mere humans.
