Precious memory (pics of Lilly)

I think these pictures were taken a couple of weeks before Lilly died, so she was already quite sick. But, she was NOT going to let Mack get in the chair with me. She very slowly came up into the chair with me, one leg at a time, and sort of half sat beside me/half on me. Please forgive my appearance. I had been working in the yard all day. :) But, I'm not the point of this post. My Lilly is. She was a beautiful and sweet girl and we miss her very, very much.

These photos are so sweet they brought tears to my eyes. Especially the second one. Look at the smile on her face - a smile of true love and devotion. Love the snuggly feeling the third gives.

She was such a gorgeous baby and we will certainly never forget her.

What precious and beautiful memories for sure! Lilly was such a gorgeous girl and had that sparkle in her eyes! We will never, ever forget her and I know that I will always love seeing her pictures!

I did cry when I saw these pictures for the first time, night before last. But I asked Scott to pull them and let me see them.

I'm trying so hard to remember good things about Lilly, and I guess posting these pictures is a bit of therapy for me. But I feel tremendous loss, still today, after two weeks. :( In fact, I can hardly believe it has been two weeks, already.

Thank you for all of your comments and good thoughts, and for recognizing that this was a tough exercise for me.

Val, I think it was at least 5 months, after Zipper's death, that I finally deleted the last pictures of him and Murphy off of my camera. I have them saved on every computer we have. It is hard to let them go, and also the worry that goes along with perhaps having a computer crash, etc. We did buy an external harddrive and have everything saved there, too.

I had to come back as I wanted to mention that as well. Logan, I hope you don't mind, I have copied each of these pictures to save on my computer.

All three of the pictures would be wonderful to have displayed together in an extended frame, although I don't know how you would be able to pass where it woulb be hung without having your heart break all over again. Maybe one day.

Lilly was a gorgeous dog. I know she loved you just as much as you loved her. You took very good care of her as she lived a long and happy life.
