I recieved this in an email the black in the cat's fur is the tire tread marks when she was hit. Please can someone help this poor little girl?!!!!!

HELP!!

Is there anyone out there that can help this little angel? Look at her photo, it will kill you. She was hit by a car and has a broken pelvis, all she needs is a few weeks crate rest and she will be as good as new. I called the shelter and they tell me she's so loving (of course).

I would take her in a minute if I didn't have Fred the cat I rescued that just went through a major surgery on his bladder/urethra.

Please go to this website - http://www.laanimalservices.com/
Go to the Adopt an Animal and go to South Central Shelter/Cats and you will see
her....She is on the RED LIST which means she is going to be euthanized. I have put a
24 hour hold on her.

Her number is NINA - ID#A857807 - S. Central Shelter Los Angeles, CA

The black marks on her fur are the car treads!

PLEASE HELP NINA!!!

Thank you,

Michele

If I lived closer I would ask my fiance to take her in but I can't drive to CA.

I'm praying that someone will take her...poor baby.

I'm sure Melissa will get this same message, but I wanted to post it now in case any of you are worried about this cat. An update from the original poster:
================================================== =
"How do you thank such an amazing group of people that have rallied
and come to the aid of this little fur baby? It actually brings
tears to my eyes to know there are so many out there so willing to
help, sometimes I know we all feel isolated! SO THANK YOU!!

I bailed out Nina today and she is safe at home. Tomorrow she is
going to the vet for x-rays and felv/fiv testing, then off to a
great foster mom until she is healed and ready to go to her forever
home. I actually had someone offer to foster here that lives in Los
Angeles (yeah) that way I get visits!!

Again, thank you from the bottom of my and Nina's hearts. We can
never thank you enough for your love, concern and generosity.

Brightest Blessings,

Michele"

I don't believe so. t was posted originally by a rescuer in L.A. and she posted onto a large number of Yahoo rescue groups. The cat is going to a foster home in L.A. and then the rescuer and foster can work on a permanent home for her.
