Something to be happy about...

There is alot of unhappiness on Pet Talk today so I thought I'd share some good news that I received yesterday. Maybe change the mood around here.

If you recall last year a mass was found in my left breast and I ended up having surgery and 24 grams of nasty cells removed - one step below having full blown cancer.

Well.....on Feb 27 I had my follow-up mammogram........been on pins and needles for a bit now.......the letter came yesterday - the mammogram showed NOT SIGNIFICANT ABNORMALITIES!!! All clear!!!! Huge sigh of relief and a big YAHOO!!! The nightmare is over.

That is great news to share with us and i am so happy for you, i understand how scarey it is, really i do, my mother just got her results today and is all clear too, this is her fourth year free of breast cancer, one more year and she is considered cured, so i can imagine how relieved you feel, go out and celebrate your well being, HUGS. :)

my favorite part of my job as a mammographer is telling a patient is that her follow up films, after the radiologist has read them, is that they are clear. happy happy news indeed!
