My top was a nova scotia duck tolling retriever with a irish setter coming in second Followed by an australian shepherd with brittany being fourth.

My 100% dog was a Polish Lowland Sheepdog! I said moderate grooming maintenance!! Sheepdogs look like high maintenance to me.
But Cocker Spaniel (our RB dog, DJ) and Australian Shepherd (Zoee) both came in at 97%! :D
That was neat!!

I've tried all different ones, I really love messing with those for fun! lol Usually what I get is flat-coated retriever. They kind of interest me. I think their gorgeous dogs! :)

I do these every once in a while. Just to see what it comes up with.

This one says these breeds are best for me.

Greater Swiss Mountain Dog
Black Russian Terrier
Great Dane
Saint Bernard
Newfoundland
Anitolian Shepherd
Mastiff
Irish Wolfhound

It said I would do well with Spaniels (I have one, an ECS), but they say I should have a flat coated retreiver, not a Golden Retriever (Jake is my golden)...

probably the energy level question, he was a bit challenging when he was young...

DEFINITELY looks right to me! :D Borders, Aussies, and Cattle dogs are my top 3 breeds!

Bearded collie 99%
Dandie dinmont terrier, English setter, Siberian husky,Tibetan terrier, and Wirehaired pointing griffon all 98%
This list continues from 97% on...

My search yielded 121 results, did anyone else get that many?

There's only one of those breeds I would have, its pretty obvious which one that is. ;) Nothing against the other breeds, they just are not what I would choose.

Haha, Standard Poodles...I would love one! If only they weren't so expensive lol. Looks right to me...Australian Shepherds came in 2nd. Out of the 8 given, I would probably only ever own a Standard Poodle, an Aussie, and the Pointer (I have one already!). Goldens and labs are too popular to me...don't know anything about the Irish Water Spaniel, not too into the snowy breeds (Canaan dogs) and Corgis are a little too small for my taste.

Ha ha is right! I had 55 matches from 98 to 88 percent ranging from a miniature Dachsund to a Siberian Husky, Terv, Belgian, Am staff, Afghan and even a few of the spaniel and pointing breeds. The Standard Poodle wasn't even in there.

My answers were; breed size-medium, energy level-couch potato, Exercise requirements-fetch the remote, Playfullness-a few tennis balls dropped in the lap, affection level-ocassional jump, lick and wagging tail, friendliness-very friendly to other animals, ease of training-quick learner, protecion ability, a calmer and less ferocious dog, grooming requirements and tolerance to heat and cold-not important.

I wouldn't advise anyone to run out and buy a dog based on that test.

It's good for a chuckle or two though! :D

I was actually being very non-biased in my selections, some answers being a no-no for a Belgian (I can't like EVERYTHING about Belgians!). And yet, I still got it LOL.

Belgian Sheepdog 98%
Belgian Malinois 96%
Belgian Tervuren 96%
German wirehaired pointer 96%
Australian Cattle Dog 95%

Basset Hound came up #1 for me, I'm not really sure it's my type of dog though. However Whippet and Italian Greyhound where both at 97%. We think Payson might be part Whippet or IG. He has a greyhound body and runs like one as well.

I had the German Short Haired Pointer and Pharaoh hound at 98% with the rest of the top answes being filled with other hounds (both scent and sight) and sporting dogs.

I get the same top 8 everytime I do this quiz, with the Toller coming up first every time (I try to be very non-biased aswell). :)

Here they are:

I'd say they're all pretty accurate, though I don't agree with the Springer at all.

The top ten.....

Of course, I'd probably never own a pure-bred dog unless found in the shelter, rescue, streets, etc. I usually fall for the mutts anyways.

5/10 are black and tan (7 if you count the Belgians).... hmmm? We are meant to be.

Let me say I was absolutely shocked when I saw the results. I have taken these types of tests before and they almost always tell me chihuahua or cavy or cocker or something like that. Never has an American Eskimo shown up before. I think somone has slowly brainwashed me. ;)

Brittanys and Tollers ties with 99%

and 6 breeds tied for second with 98%:
ACD
Belgian Terv.
BC
ESS
Feild Spanial
irish setter.

I dont agree with all of them, I said "quick learner" is VERY important. I am a good trainer, I am just extremly impatient, I dont even consider Leck to be a quick learner based on my standards, the instant "I understand" I get from training BCs is what I consider a quick learner, taking a day or 2 to understand is NOT what I consider a quick study lol

Ive taken this test many times, I like it a lot. its hard for me though because I find its not detailed enough and I end up putting not important on many of them because I cant choose multiple answers.

this time around I got 121 results: aussie 99%, sibe 99%, am staff 98% (dont think they have american pit bull terrier included). I got 99% with 22 breeds, and 100% with 2- Belgian Tervuren & German Shorthaired Pointer, 2 breeds I would NEVER own, just because they do not fit my personality AT ALL.

As far as these breed tests go, this is one of the better ones Ive found online (Ive taken dozens), its a nice START, but in my opinion when it comes right down to it, meeting a number of individuals of each breed youre interested in, interacting with them, seeing them in action during their day to day, how they interact with different people, dogs, situations, play, etc, thats the way to choose a breed.

oh and my FAVORITE breed test is the Purina Dog Breed Selector, but it appears its not running anymore :(
