Over the last few weeks, i swear I have been losing my mind! Down stairs we have a sliding Glass door that leads to the back yard. Anywasy, over the last few weeks, hubby has yelled at me, saying I havent been shutting the door all the way! Well i could swear up and down that i had closed the door! so Here i am thinking I am losing my darn mind!http://petoftheday.com/i/our_smilies/confused.gif

Well today, home alone I let the dogs in from a run around the Yard, and was sitting at the computer, after a while, I heard a strange, but very quiet noise, coming from the door area. I get up and wal over towards the door, and to my suprise, the door was open again! http://petoftheday.com/i/our_smilies/eek.gif it is only open two inches, but in this weather it gets cold quick! But I had to laugh cause laying his big fat hairy hiney on the door was rocky! he obviously moved, and when he did it slid the door open! http://petoftheday.com/i/our_smilies/biggrin.gif Ha ha ha ha ha ha! I am not losing my mind after all!(well not yet anyways!)http://petoftheday.com/i/our_smilies/biggrin.gif So now, I just lock the darn door, everytime i close it!

No real point to this thread, but I thought it was pretty funny!http://petoftheday.com/i/our_smilies/biggrin.gif

Yup, time to train the humans to lock the door - or make Rocky get a job to pay for the increased heating bill! He's a Saint Bernard - he doesn't even feel the cold, mom!

Well, as water (a.k.a. drool) and electricity (the engine running the chainsaw) don't mix ... I'd just make him haul the wood in. Because any wood he "split" for you would end up too drenched in dog spit to be burnable until next year anyway ...

ha ha ha ha ha ha!! yeah i guess mixing him with a chainsaw woul just be disasterous, so you are right! Gotta get him strated on the wood tho, that way i will be all set for next winter!:D

HAHA! Rocky was just reminding you to be safe and lock them doors! It's not like you need to have the door locked though. No one is gonna even try to get in when you have a Saint guarding! :D

LOL That is Funny,I hope you let hubby know that lol,Lacy used to aslo do that but she would get the one open and go through the screen,With Maggy's help offcourse.

They Love it outside in the summer,I do have them out most of the day,But i do bring them in it worries me with them in the sun all day,So they get breaks to come into the nice Central Air.

I have several sliding doors- one whole wall in my house and I have to keep the doors lock. Its not their hineys- its their NOSE.. All of mine would push their nose in the opening and just push..I also have to have a lock on my screen porch door as they will push that one also.

lol, reminds me of a story I had w/ Charlie.

hubby accidently forgot to lock front door. We were in bedroom "busy" and Charlie somehow stood up and turn the handle and got out. The neighbor boy brought him back. I was embarrassed and worried that he may have heard something. Hubby went and got him as I put my clothes on, then I went outside and thanked him and told them hubby and I were in back "putting laundry away"
