Any country fans heard this song, Moments, by Emerson Drive? Such a wonderful, powerful song. I love it.

Here are the lyrics:

I was coming to the end of a long long walk
When a man crawled out of a cardboard box
Under the E. Street Bridge
Followed me on to it
I went out halfway across
With that homeless shadow tagging along
So I dug for some change
Wouldn't need it anyway
He took it lookin' just a bit ashamed
He said, You know
I haven't always been this way

I've had my moments, days in the sun
Moments I was second to none
Moments when I knew I did what I thought
I couldn't do
Like that plane ride coming home from the war
That summer my son was born
And memories like a coat so warm
A cold wind can't get through
Lookin' at me now you might not know it
But I've had my moments

I stood there tryin' to find my nerve
Wondering if a single soul on Earth
Would care at all
Miss me when I'm gone
That old man just kept hanging around
Lookin' at me, lookin' down
I think he recognized
That look in my eyes
Standing with him there I felt ashamed
I said, You know
I haven't always felt this way

I've had my moments, days in the sun
Moments I was second to none
Moments when I knew I did what I thought
I couldn't do
Like the day I walked away from the wine
For a woman who became my wife
And a love that, when it was right,
Could always see me through
Lookin' at me now you might not know it
But I've had my moments

I know somewhere 'round a trashcan fire tonight
That old man tells his story one more time
He says

I've had my moments, days in the sun
Moments I was second to none
Moments when I knew I did what I thought I
couldn't do
Like that cool night on the E. Street Bridge
When a young man almost ended it
I was right there, wasn't scared a bit
And I helped to pull him through
Lookin' at me now you might not know it
Oh, lookin' at me now you might not know it
But I've had my moments..

It's a beautiful song. A majority of country songs give me chills, goosebumps, touch me, etc.

Here's one of my favorites..

Amazed by Lonestar

Every time our eyes meet
This feeling inside me
Is almost more than I can take
Baby when you touch me
I can feel how much you love me
And it just blows me away
I've never been this close to anyone or anything
I can hear your thoughts
I can see your dreams

I don't know how you do what you do
I'm so in love with you
It just keeps getting better
I want to spend the rest of my life
With you by my side
Forever and ever
Every little thing that you do
Baby, I'm amazed by you

The smell of your skin
The taste of your kiss
The way you whisper in the dark
Your hair all around me
Baby you surround me
You touch every place in my heart
Oh, it feels like the first time, every time
I want to spend the whole night in your eyes

Chorus

Solo

Every little thing that you do
I'm so in love with you
It just keeps getting better
I want to spend the rest of my life
With you by my side
Forever and ever
Every little thing that you do
Baby, I'm amazed by you

It's one of my songs for Kiara. :)

This is one of my favorites...not my favorite though...

I love it because I am really close to my dad, and I think this would be such a great father and daughter song for a wedding.

It's Tim Mcgraw's My Little Girl

Gotta hold on easy as I let you go.
Gonna tell you how much I love you,
though you think you already know.
I remember I thought you looked like an angel wrapped in pink so soft and warm.
You've had me wrapped around your finger since the day you were born.

Your beautiful baby from the outside in.
Chase your dreams but always know the road that'll lead you home again.
Go on, take on this whole world.
But to me you know you'll always be, my little girl.

When you were in trouble that crooked little smile could melt my heart of stone.
Now look at you, I've turned around and you've almost grown.
Sometimes you're asleep I whisper "I Love You!" in the moonlight at your door.
As I walk away, I hear you say, "Daddy Love You More!".

Your beautiful baby from the outside in.
Chase your dreams but always know the road that'll lead you home again.
Go on, take on this whole world.
But to me you know you'll always be, my little girl.

Someday, some boy will come and ask me for your hand.
But I won't say "yes" to him unless I know, he's the half
that makes you whole, he has a poet's soul, and the heart of a man's man.
I know he'll say that he's in love.
But between you and me. He won't be good enough!

Your beautiful baby from the outside in.
Chase your dreams but always know the road that'll lead you home again.
Go on, take on this whole world.
But to me you know you'll always be, my little girl.

This is the words to "One More Day" by Diamond Rio. It's a very special song to me. When I knew it was time to send my long coat Chihuahua, Killer, to the RB, I picked this song for her. I heard it on the radio and thought it was perfect. After we left the vet's office and I was driving her to the crematory, I turned on the last road to the place and this song came on the radio. It was unbelievable. I almost had to pull over it was so moving. I'll never forget it. Rest in Peace sweetheart :(

(Steven Dale Jones/Bobby Tomberlin)

Last night I had a crazy dream
A wish was granted just for me
It could be for anything
I didn't ask for money
Or a mansion in Malibu
I simply wished, for one more day with you

One more day
One more time
One more sunset, maybe I'd be satisfied
But then again
I know what it would do
Leave me wishing still, for one more day with you

First thing I'd do, is pray for time to crawl
Then I'd unplug the telephone
And keep the TV off
I'd hold you every second
Say a million I love you's
That's what I'd do, with one more day with you

One more day
One more time
One more sunset, maybe I'd be satisfied
But then again
I know what it would do
Leave me wishing still, for one more day with you

Leave me wishing still, for one more day
Leave me wishing still, for one more day

I LOVE this song.. It comes on EVERY time when I'm with Mike.. we just laugh and listen to it.. well, Mike sings along to it.. especially with the "a little bit of you lovin' up on me" part and he nudges his arm against mine and smiles at me..

"Little Bit of Life" by Craig Morgan:

A little bit of guitar
A little bit of truck
A little bit of hound dog
and a little bit of luck
A little bit of bacon
a little bit of beans
A little bit of you lovin' up on me
A little bit of how it's supposed to be
A little bit of life

A little bit of backseat
A little bit of moon
A little bit of radio
goin' boom boom boom
A little bit of sugar
A little bit of spice
A little bit of nasty
A little bit of nice
A little bit of how it's supposed to be
A little bit of life

CHORUS
i breathe in, i breathe out
yeah, sleepin' all night with windows down
up in the mornin' stirrin' around
drink a pot of coffee and I head off to town
work, work, work, all day long
crank it up, back it up, bring it on home
supper on the table and i eat me a bite
we snuggle on the porch by the pale moonlight
A little bit of me and you doin' alright
A little bit of life

A little bit of tractor
A little bit of farm
A little bit of cornfield
A little bit of barn
A little bit of come on
A little bit of play
A little bit of yee haw in the hay
A dixie cup of homemade wine
A little bit of life

repeat chorus

A little bit of back-porch
A little bit of swing
A little bit of windchimes goin' ding-a-ling
A little bit of t.v
A little bit of couch
popcorn smellin' up the house
a la mode i'm havin' a slice of homemade pie
A little bit of life

REPEAT CHORUS
a little bit of me and you doin' alright
a little bit of life
yeah, a little bit of life

A little bit of guitar
A little bit of truck
A little bit of hound dog
a little bit of luck
A little bit of backseat
A little bit of moon
A little bit of radio
boom boom boom
A little bit of bacon
a little bit of beans
A little bit of you lovin' up on me

Great songs everyone...

Just thought of this one...I was at my friend's house, and we were waiting for the vet to arrive to put her horse to sleep and had the radio on-and right after he left us, this came on.
The Dance-Garth Brooks-

Looking back on the memory of
The dance we shared 'neath the stars alone
For a moment all the world was right
How could I have known that you'd ever say goodbye

And now I'm glad I didn't know
The way it all would end the way it all would go
Our lives are better left to chance I could have missed the pain
But I'd of had to miss the dance

Holding you I held everything
For a moment wasn't I a king
But if I'd only known how the king would fall
Hey who's to say you know I might have chanced it all

And now I'm glad I didn't know
The way it all would end the way it all would go
Our lives are better left to chance I could have missed the pain
But I'd of had to miss the dance

Yes my life is better left to chance
I could have missed the pain but I'd of had to miss the dance ...

I felt the
Faint trace of thunder
Rattle this old house
I saw the fire light the sky
But there's no sign of rain anywhere

I need a hurricane
To empty out this place
Seems it's the only way
To salvage any sense I have left
To move on

I'm waiting
To hear your voice again
And lighten up this heart
I'm holding on to stupid memories
But I see you in every little thing

I need a hurricane
To straighten out this place
It may be the only way
To salvage any sense I have left
To move on

I need a hurricane
To ravage through this place
I think it's the only way
To salvage any sense
I have left
To move on

I felt the
Faint trace of thunder
But there's no sign of rain anywhere
No, there's no sign of you anywhere

...I like the song because it's a way I've felt before, where I knew the only way I could move on was for the proverbial bottom to fall out of my life. It happened and it really did clean up my life.

Love everone's songs.
This is one of my favorite country songs:
How do you get that lonely by Blaine Larson

It was just another story written on the second page
Underneath the Tiger's football score
It said he was only eighteen, a boy about my age
They found him face down on the bedroom floor

There'll be services on Friday at the Lawrence Funeral Home
Then out on Mooresville highway, they'll lay him 'neath a stone...

How do you get that lonely, how do you hurt that bad
To make you make the call, that havin' no life at all
Is better than the life that you had
How do you feel so empty, you want to let it all go
How do you get that lonely... and nobody know

Did his girlfriend break up with him, did he buy or steal that gun?
Did he lose a fight with drugs or alcohol?
Did his Mom and Daddy forget to say I love you son?
Did no one see the writing on the wall?

I'm not blamin' anybody, we all do the best we can
I know hindsight's 20/20, but I still don't understand...

How do you get that lonely, how do you hurt that bad
To make you make the call, that havin' no life at all
Is better than the life that you had
How do you feel so empty, you want to let it all go
How do you get that lonely... and nobody know

It was just another story printed on the second page
Underneath the Tiger's football score...

Build it anyway

For all the right reasons
And in a moment they can choose to walk away
Love 'em anyway

A song you believe in
That tomorrow they'll forget you ever sang

I feel just like Kay mentioned......most countyr songs give me the chilla and many more LES.......

I loved them all.......Amazed is one of my faves though.......all time fave...

there is this other one I canīt seem to know what itīs called but maybe you know......
I think itīs about a man that is saying he loves this girl and such and he loved her since they were kids and now all grown up......I canīt remember it well, but i think it also involves something yellow, maybe a ribbon or a dress, like I loved that girl in yellow and now shes all grown up or something.....sorry Iīm such blank minded right now.....itīs not that old song maybe from early 2000 or so.....

theres also this one......(another one nameless LOL) that says

Iīll kiss you with the windows open and the rain comes pouring inside.....*i think* :p
