Look who turned 1 week old on Wednesday! Pics!

Little baby Quinn Willow turned a big 1 week old! She celebrated the day with diaper changes, moms milk, more diaper changes, a visit to the doctor (she's 6 pounds 3 ounces now...almost back up to her birth weight!), a visit to dads work to meet new people, and we topped the day off with a bath and then a nail trim and file ( I was SO nervous doing this!). Here are some pictures of our baby Quinn, the first three were taken after her evening bath.

this was taken from the hospital the day after her birth. This WAS supposed to be her take-home outfit, but she was just too tiny, it just doesn't fit yet, so she went home in a pretty night gown instead (which she still doesn't fit into, but it fits better then this dress)

Thank you so very much, everyone! She's my dream come true! I can't believe how much love we have for this tiny person. She's a perfect angel :)

Rachel, Kersey is the very best girl with Quinn. I knew she'd be a good dog around kids, she loves them and is the most gentle and patient dog, but I didn't know she'd be THIS good with the baby. She's a little scared when the baby is layed too close to where she's sleeping, but she's so gentle and sweet. She is also protective. She's always near where the baby is sleeping, to keep an eye out for her :) She's such a sweet dog!

Boone is still a puppy, and he's still intact, so he's just slightly rambuntious and he's kind of a clumsy boy so we have to be careful he doesn't plow into her bassinete. He's a good boy though, and he does keep his distance. He's not tried to get too close to the baby so that's good since he's still an active pup.

The cats are good. They don't really care one way or another. I swore if I had one more person tell me to watch the cats because they tend to 'smother babies since they smell like milk' I was going to scream! The cats both looked at the baby, and then walked away and they really don't seem to care one way or another :)
