Mine and my family's first foster: Becky!

She's 3-5 months old, from Wisconsin, very sweet, knows no commands (yet), and has huge paws. You have to be careful when you're walking with her as she's always right under your feet.

Anyway.. on to the pictures. I know they're not great.. she moves around a lot! :)

Lovely puppy. Congrats on the new family member. :)

Husky_mom - you do get white factored border collies. My own traditionally marked dogs threw some very white factored pups themselves. They were purebred. Some of them had even more white than Becky and some borders are practically all white. White dominating isn't allowed in the show ring but I still think they look quite pretty.
In the past, white factored dogs would have been used to guard flocks because they blend in more but they can herd as well as any traditionally marked dog too.

Our Jess has always had big chunky feet too. Neither of her parents did. Her mother had little dainty feet and her dad had very little dainty hind feet but larger front ones. Jess has been clubby things on all fours, haha.

She is adorable. I am sure you will be able to make her a more confident pup. So many changes in a few short months. Do you know what mix she is? I love her feet. And I really like the Mickey picture; the caption is perfect. :)

I have no idea what she is mixed with. If her feet weren't so big, I'd say she was 110% purebred!

Aw she is sooo pretty. My bestfriend's name is Becky, so I think that is a very suitable name for this puppy, Becky is a pretty name and a girly yet full of spunk!:D Love the pictures.

How cute! And I love the pic of your pup trying to bogart the chew :p .

How wonderful that you are fostering. Thanks for making sure Becky doesn't have to spend her puppyhood in a shelter, or worse!

Awwww! She's adorable! I really do wish I could foster, but with Rita being so dog agressive, we really can't take any chances... :(

She could still be purebred even with the large feet.

Our Jess has big feet too and she's purebred. Neither of her parents had big feet mind. I'm not sure where she gets them from. The beauty of the variable working strain BC, lol. Her hind feet look especially strange because they are so much wider than her pasterns, they look like clubs on the end of her legs, haha.
She has big chunky claws to go with them. I have to clip them regularly because they get too long otherwise. When Mist was alive, I used to do her claws first although hers didn't really grow that long for the most part but I'd definitely notice the different in their feet and claws when I moved onto our Jess.

Canis-Lupess, that's interesting! I guess we'll have to see as she grows up. I think she's purebred, lol.

And, wow! Thanks so much for all the comments! :)

Yes, if they have something else in them, the traits of the other breed often come out more as they grow up.
My oldest sister has a dog that is 7/8ths BC and 1/8th Springer. As a pup he just looked BC but now he's an adult, you can see the springer in his ears and a tiny bit in his face.

Thou shalt see...lol :D

PS. I'll try and get some photos of our Jess's big feet, haha.
