I was just watching Hockey Night in Canada. they were talking about a heart breaking story.
A 10 year old boy was out playing pond hockey with some friends and was accidently struck in the head with the puck. The child passed away. the family donated his organs and can onlly deliver this message.
"No matter if you are in an arena or playing on a pond or even on the street. ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS wear your helmet."
Very tragic and my heart goes out to that family. I can't imagine anything more heartbreaking than outliving your child....especially when his life is cut short at such a young age.
