I've been looking for some continuous light fixtures for a photography studio setup, but the ones I've found so far are a bit too pricey. Does anyone know of where I can find some inexspensive - but good quality - medium/large softboxes? I'd prefer a 1000 Watt bulb, but 500 Watt works too.

Specifically I'd be needing a medium or large softbox and a large reflector (white) and reflector stand. Under $700 would be nice, but it's probably not likely.

Gosh it gets so expensive x.x

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I need some input on studio lighting kits, I have a strong lean toward Alien Bees right now, the B400's to be exact. My question is, when you need to calibrate/meter the lighting how can you do that with the Alien Bees set up? (I have a Nikon D70s).
