Now I lay me down to sleep,
The king-size bed is soft and deep...
I sleep right in the center groove
My human can hardly move!

I've trapped her legs, she's tucked in tight
And here is where I pass the night
No one disturbs me or dares intrude
Till morning comes and "I want food!"

I sneak up slowly to begin
My nibbles on my human's chin.
She wakes up quickly, I have sharp teeth -
And my claws I will unsheath

For the morning's here and it's time to play,
I always seem to get my way.
So thank you Lord for giving me
This human person that I see.

The one who hugs me and holds me tight,
And sacrifices her bed at night

Are you 100% sure about the author??? :confused:

I could have sworn that my boys also authored that one - Vegas, Abner, Gabriel Dude and Smokey....oh yeah I can not forget Mystic or Gracie on that one either.

My hubby gets mad at me every night because by the morning he has no covers....well that's because they sleep so close to me that when I turn I end up having to take the covers as well.

Cute and oh so true cats prayer !!!! :)

That is VERY cute! And I also think that my girls each had a paw in creating that poem. Maybe all of our PT kitties get together when we aren't around, comandeer our computers, and make their creations!

I don't know :p could have been written by Shilo, Monte, Jim, Sterling, Jasper, Amber and Rutherford. :rolleyes:

That is fantastic and so very true. I hear Groucho meowing that prayer very night and believe me, it always is answered.
