*update* - even send just a tiny bit - it adds up like you wouldn't believe!

Allysmom is in Lagos, her hubby is in Bahrain tying up loose ends...and poor Ally has been alone in the apartment with someone coming in every day to feed her.

In Bahrain, her being PTS would be the only option. But we have a PT Adopter!

http://petoftheday.com/talk/showthread.php?t=121468

Like Conner (Ally's furbrother), she is being flown over to the USA.

ALSO - if anyone knows a soldier in Bahrain being repatriated to the USA, some were wondering if s/he could buy an extra seat for Ally on a military flight, and we could pay that person.

THANKS! :D

Allysmom won't even be able to hug her sweetie goodbye...so let's help ease her worries as best we can.

We're 1/3 of the way there... hope we make it! Please keep sweet Ally in your thoughts, too, as she's surely lonely. I can't wait until she's here for jenn_librarian to love and cuddle.

I want to jump on the bandwagon too. I have sent one donation and going to send another. If all you can send is $1, that is $1 more closer to the goal!

Someday, it could be any of us needing this kind of help!

We are getting close folks! Anyone wanting to help better get on the ball if you want to be a part of this PT miracle!

PM jenn_librarian and ask her to invoice you for the amount you wish to donate.

It's easier to pay an invoice (with your card) than figure out PayPal if you haven't used the system before. :)

They still need about $350. It is going to cost over $1500 to get her home.

I was confused because I saw something around $1,200. Either way, I want to help. Who do I contact?

They originally thought it would be about 1200 as that is what it cost to get Connor home but it is more. Contact Jenn Libranian. She is the original thread started and will be getting Ally.

Later quote

The newest amount she was told for flying ally is $1216.00. It could be more, but she's hoping not. With a new donation, we are currently at $1170.00, which means we are $46.00 away from that amount. We do have to take into consideration PayPal Fees, so the EXACT amount of donations equals $1136.46 ($33.54 in fees). PayPal charges 4.5% basically for transactions. Any checks that were sent incurred NO fees because I can add to the account free of cost. I also got an "e-check" and that did not incur fees either. Not sure how that one was done, but it is a good idea. Fees are a pain, but 5 years ago, this entire PayPal endeavor would not have been possible.

ooops....I stand corrected...thanks for clearing that up. Even better consider how much closer that puts them. :)
