It seems I have tried quite a few different brands of cat litter ranging from supermarket to specialty and I am having no luck finding a brand that can drastically reduce the amount of tracking with multiple cats. I have been using a litter mat which does help a little but not enough. Any suggestions for a brand that I may not have tried yet? Luckily my cats are not picky about cat litter. :)

If you have any luck with that, be sure to post that here on PT for all of us!

I just use puppy pads in front and shake them off throughout the day..

There is a special litter which is non-absorbant which I use for my diabetic cat. It is safflower seeds! I got it through a link from www.felinediabetes.com. The litter can be washed and reused. The cat still kicks the seeds out of the litter box but they aren't dusty.

I have to agree with Critter Crazy! ;)

However, like Laura, if you find one, please let us all know!

One that you do NOT want to try is the Feline Pine shredded or whatever it's called. It was THE worst for tracking that I have ever seen!
